The funny thing about this song is that the band was completely wasted when they recorded it. They actually have no idea what the lyrics are and, slurred in between, are mixes of both English AND Japanese so there's really no way to tell what they're saying. Aging myself a bit but when the song came out I was in middle school and I remember the billions of different translations that came out but truth be told the answer really is ~nobody knows... ~ @.@

Just about the same plot, a vampire erraticating organization that uses a vampire to kill other vampires. But this is a series of its own so there are right now seven installments with an eighth in the works. Here there are some changes to some characters especially taking place outside of London and at different time periods. Like how Seras got involved in Hellsing and how she became a vampire. Same goes for Alucard. Mostly it’s like the original series. I do consider some as additional segments to the OVA. Well not all the characters from the OVA are not in it. Like the best way I can put it, Pip and the Wild Geese are still in the desert, most of the Iscariots are either out spreading the word of God or still at the Vatican, and Millennium is no more, probably wiped out during the war. That’s just my thoughts. This fan fiction focuses on the adventures that involve Hellsing and on Alucard and Seras as a couple, yes this is also an Alucard and Seras pairing just so you’re aware because if that’s not you’re interest I’m letting you know now. Also some of the stuff written in the installments might seem unbelievable but how it’s described makes it possible. I should also tell you this fanfic is for 18-up because of the violence, language, and sexual content it contains. Each installment has its own ratings on what to expect when reading. Now this was made I believe in the mid 2000’s until 2008, but got picked up ten years later. There’s an update box describing the absence. I found the person who wrote this and sent a message in 2018 saying how I loved it but also what happens in the sixth installment. A year later it was finally done. This is the best way I can best describe Eternal Hearts to you. If you are interested just look up on Google Hellsing Eternal Hearts, or just type Hellsing Alternate Universe. I hope that I did explained it to you as best I can.

If anyone is having a crisis because Dante from Devil May Cry and Alucard/Dracula from Hellsing/Hellsing Ultimate are the same here's my list of why they are so similar and the difference between them. A will be Alucard and D being Dante both being abbreviated 1: They are both supernatural beings and powers , A being a vampire and D being a demon. 2: Both parties have a black and silver pistols, A having the Jackal and Casull while D has Ebony and Ivory. 3: This one is obvious but both have red coats. 4: Both have a crooked sense of humor, in my opinion. 5: Both were released around the same time D being released around '01 and A either '01 or '03 Now the difference are not that A is a vampire and D is a demon it's that Hellsing (Manga) was released in the '90s I know that DMC1 could have been planned before the manga but don't forget that the Manga existed before DMC existed.

dischord1 Ultimate follows the manga closely to the T, it's a whole different story. There's more Anderson, more Integra and a lot more Alucard. While the Anime had that one Incognito guy, the OVA has Millennium as a whole. They're pretty much neo nazis but they're all such great characters. I'd the first two episodes of Ultimate pretty much cover all of the anime. Everything past that is whole new stuff.

You can easily hear lyrics in the song itself that aren't gibberish, without translation. And I can't find any source confirming your assertion either. A clever song name, using Logos like that. Logos (Greek) - "the Word" - another name for Jesus. John 1 v 1 - "In the beginning, the Word was with God and the Word was God." Hence, "A World Without Jesus." Complicated yet clever. Me likey!

The Christian concept of the Logos is derived from the first chapter of the Gospel of John, where the Logos (often translated as “Word”) is described in terms that resemble, but likely surpass, the ideas of Philo: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. What part of it though? I mean, I fail to see why this song title should be about Jesus of all the possibilites? Using the word logos when talking about jesus isn't very common, right? So why would they in this occasion happen to mean Jesus? And even if WE wouldn't be talking about the person named Jesus, that's what people in general would probably assume.

Jay Dawg As I said before, it ties in with the theme of the show. The theme is about religion, if you haven't noticed. Also, using the term Logos to refer to Jesus is not uncommon, actually. If you were to look at the original version of the Bible (untranslated), Jesus is referred to as "Logos" every time He is called "the Word." The last four words of John 1:1 (Greek: θεὸς ἦν ὁ λόγος, literally "God was the Logos", or "God was the Word"), referring to Jesus who was the Logos incarnate and was widely known by that term. As far as I am aware, it was also used by Greek-speaking Christians (or "Followers of the Way" as it was then, for the term "Christian" had not yet been created) to avoid the authorities and persecutors as being a Follower of the Way was originally illegal and punishable by death for a few hundred years. It was a way to say His name inconspicuously. In fact, the term is still used widely today in Greek-speaking countries when referring to the Bible and Jesus as "the Word." As both are often referred to as the Word of God, it's not uncommon. Also, the word itself also means "word" which can be seen on the Wikipedia page that you directed me to. Look at the list again: Originally a word meaning "a ground", "a plea", "an opinion", "an expectation", *"word",* "speech", "account", "to reason."

I still think that logos here refers to the idea of Jesus being god incarnate and how that is the basis for morality and so on. Not the dude Jesus. And being that I haven't ever read the bible in any language, the greek word logos has appeared to me a lot more in different contexts. And yes, you are very correct that show has a lot christian stuff in it. I personally choose to ignore it when it comes to the name of this song though, because thinking about "a world without logos" is much more interesting than thinking about "a world without jesus" to a person that has little interest in any particular caracters in religious texts. Must've been some reason they put the word logos there instead of the word jesus. Maybe the song is about "a world without a ground" (just to pick one off that list at random.) One way or another I'm glad that there are other people who can comment stuff besides saying "Alucard kawaiiii!"
