Hellsinker is a very unique shump, as it's a technical and somewhat convoluted game.
For this run I was using the following settings:
Character: Dead Liar (Fixed Position)
Speed Control: Alternative (Toggle between 50% and 100% movement speed)
Maximum Life: Moderate (Max number of stored lives is 6)
Auto bomb: Solid State (Auto bomb when sol is greater than or equal to 3. Can only be done a max of 3 times per stage)
To help you understand whats going here is a couple things to note:
Sol: This is the bomb gauge. When greater than or equal to 3 it can be used. Using the bomb destroys bullets and gives invincibility.
Luna: This is the primary weapon. For the most part this influences the damage of the primary weapon.
Sub Weapon: This is the secondary weapon. For Dead Liar it's the drone.
It's also important to note that your character has an aura around them which can slow and damage/destroy some bullets.
This aura is active while not using the primary weapon.
