i'm a meat eater, but that doesn't mean i can't appreciate a vegetarian dish. Most vegetarian dish I've tried are just not that good. So if it's a vegetarian dish that Ramsay himself approves of? I definitely would want that. Gizzy took on the harder challenge. I wish she won this one.

"they got a big ego" they think they know exactly what's going on in Hells Kitchen, but it's been a while for all of them, more for others and it shows, most finalist either strat strong and remain there or start weak but improve immensly, you got plenty who start strong and overcomfident and then fizzle out 3/4th to the finals.

There are plenty of vegetarians out there, and providing them with a vegetarian option for a risotto, for example, is very smart. To knock it because of the place you are in is ridiculous

I don't think it's that they can't be good, it's that meat tends to be a backbone for many dishes. It's usually a heavy, flavor-intense part of the meal. While spices and sauces can make up in flavor, not a lot of things can trump meat when it comes to being the base of a dish. The fact that Gizzy's risotto knocked it out of the park like that despite going up against meat dishes is proof she's a talent.

@@DarkDyllon Unfortunately, the decision for advancing to the finals did not fall in Chef Ramsay's hands. That fell into the hands of the judges and what they put up in their final challenge. Also, Cody just needed to be more commanding at the pass. That's where I think his downfall was. Cody has the talent and skills, just not that commanding voice yet to lead a brigade.

i really don’t understand why everyone on this show acts like people can’t eat vegetarian food like ?? For one some ppl r literally vegetarian and would need vegetarian options but also so many cultures r mostly or entirely vegetarian so it’s obviously not impossible to make a good substantial vegetarian meal and on top of that they act like there’s just no nonmeat foods with protein in it ? It's always funny watching all of these "professional chefs" insult vegetarian cuisine. They act like there isn't an entire culinary industry built around vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Can one of them actually come up with a vegetarian dish that isn't bland? Probably not. However, trying to insult someone who actually was vegetarian for their vegetarian dishes is whack. If anything, all it does is point out how much they rely on the protein to do the work in their dishes, with everything else just being dressing.
