Devlog #04 | Our newest devlog is all about guns. In Hellsweeper VR, Guns have different effects based on the way it is held, from armor breaking bullets to ricocheting shots. Like other weapons, they can also be infused with elemental magic.

I love this game so so much! It’s the first VR title I’ve purchased for my PSVR2. I love how much yall understand the rule of cool. I am having some issues though like the gestures. I am most certainly doing them correctly and when the action gets intense, a completely different weapon will spawn. Can you make it so you can’t summon bullets when you’re anywhere near your chest and keep it belt level? I understand wanting to give wiggle room but it keeps getting mixed up with other actions. Sorry for the complaints. I really am enjoying this more than any game out there.

In this game I could imagine being able to summon some demon, The future is so cool for vr Blade manipulater is gonna be my thing tho, puppeteer blades with my mind/hand coordination , I try to do this in blade & sorcery

Hyped! Gives me good boomer shooter vibes. Are we gonna be able to stick to one combat method or have to switch it up frequently? I wanna rock through a run with a shotgun and assault rifle.

Stabbing should apply bleeds so that would make up for the missing physics which is fine

And I don’t wanna be motivated to flail my arms, Is there a delay system that reduces your dmg to motivate you to slow down and not look dumb And is there gesture based stuff for melee weapons or holding a certain button to do something special, Like the mechanic can be hold button then perform uppercut gesture to like knock back a enemy, 😇💅🏻🤷🏼‍♂️ you did ask💅🏻

Hi Jacob! Good questions! :) HellsweeperVR's gameplay was built around mastering controls so yes, pressing certain buttons + combining it with specific gestures will yield other effects. For example, after being able to unlock Pistol's Level 2, tilting your hand while firing a gun can cause the bullets to ricochet.

@@MixedRealms sorry I keep saying stuff I saw the guns features😇🤩 love❤️ But for melees, I saw the blade projectile ability with the charge up, I want more😈 Raise sword above head for 1.5 seconds then bring down would be a ability for the sword, like a channel Same could be used for a uppercut to knock back enemies, by bringing your sword to your bottom left, or right depending on your dominant hand and swinging upwards😅 And stab/pierce could do something with charge up
