Also let's bring up how striker is the first villain in this show who ISN'T defeated or humiliated. He's thwarted, but he doesn't die and nothing bad happens to him beyond beaing beaten up in a battle. He gets away, thus implying he'll be back as a major villain. Also his theme music is intimidating and haunting. also I highly doubt there'll be any direct ties between this and Hazbin Hotel, they just take place in the same setting.

I'm working on my own universe where god in this one is dead he was killed by a rouge angle who wanted control . And Jesus is Mia . Lucifer knows shit has gone to hell on earth so he grabs a couple imps and humans to work with these imps. The imps become demons over there training and new abilities . The humans works as there earth forms and the humans are granted a nice spot in hell they get to continue to work for Lucifer on training demons and other monster who can travel to earth. Mithamax ( I think it was either Latin or German it means wraith) he has a symbiote stlye with his human friend . The human is the more calm and calculated one while mithamax is the killer . The human was a killer who worked for a dangerous government who made the Holocaust look like a tea party . It a pretty good story I have so far. I'm working on it to where the angles of death and the grim reaper help with the demons and Lucifer . To take down the curropted angles . Maybe I should use name form the Bible to make it a bit more interesting . While angles or the more killing type and Lucifer just gives you ideas he doesn't forces you to do it he give you the idea to do it .

Not saying she isn't difficult, but I mean, until episode 5 the stolas / blitzo relationship was portrayed as VERY one sided and completely transactional for blitzo, now it's looking like that might not be the case. I just hope to see something like that, or at least some background for how things actually used to be, for Stella where she gets some sympathy for what stolas is putting her through. I mean, he is showing NO shame flirting in public and RIGHT in front of his daughter while it looks like they are still living together

@@jessica_roy4200 they're in hell and the main protagonists commit murder in innocent humans for a living. A cheating husband is literally the least of this shows worries. I quite like Stella in the role that she's in, and would feel odd for the show to do a 180 and try and make us care/sympathize for her. But we shall have to wait and see. Also I am aware that parents take turns to take care of their kids at night, obviously, but it's the callous way Stella just said "You get up!" and not even bothering to fully wake up from her sleep as her child cries in the distance. That was what I was initially trying to point out to you in your mistake. Stolas was the one who had to even wake up and notify her, Stella, of what was going on. And from all indications, was a faithful husband. At the time. This doesn't excuse any of what he's done to her in the present, make no mistake of what I'm trying to say. But going so far as to try and murder your husband because he's cheating on you is a bit excessive (no one would want to sympathize with that). But again, it's hell, so who cares 😂

As an animation geek, the slowing down of frames is usually to make a character look more rigid, old slow or more tame personality, vise versa with more frames, it also doesn't need to be the person but it can also be the setting, i feel like the reason they slowed down the framed here is bc of Stolas' presentation, having a need to be more formal and less himself, though the use it and not being in between a transition can make it feel abrupt... or the animators were just lazy ._. feel like i need to specify im not complaining or angry but felt like putting that little fact out there would be interesting :D thank you for attending my TED Talk

I mean people didn't stop liking comics and a really popular fandom the minecraft dream SMP is exactly like that. You might think it's annoying but it isn't for those who have the time and enjoy getting into multiple shows of the same universe. Getting into multiple shows which interact with each other can be incredible rewarding and amazing (just think about e.g. endgames). It just depends on if that's something you enjoy or something that annoyings you but you get through it anyway in hopes that it will be rewarding at the end. Ps: I reached the end of the video and just wanna thank you for the video itself. I love to hear your opinion towards shows I like to watch. You show me details that I missed and interesting thoughts to go with it. tbh, i do enjoy comics, but i hate having to switch between animation and comics to complete a story Comics and animation are fundamentally different, the feel, what they are capable of and just the pacing is nothing like the other, so when you make someone go from animation to comic, it's almost as if they where watching something unrelated This is why live action movies don't do a straight copy from any kind of video game or animation, you can't translate one medium to the other 1 to 1 Comics are good for adding tidbits of lore for the dedicated fans, specially those that animation can't due to it's limitations (expensive, time consuming and the fact that you can't just have a narrator without disrupting the feel of the story), not for continuing a plot

I agree about Moxxies lack of real closure with Stryker this episode, but I think you're underestimating how good Moxxie is with projectile weapons. While it'd be too cliche if he got a real shining moment every episode they've done a decent job with it like in Murder Family and the arsenal scene/opera scene in CHERUBS. They reset him to simpus quo immediately after each time, but I'm hoping the payoff will be the next episode Stryker shows up in and Moxxie going to war his way, paying off all the jokes at his expense, giving him one real shining moment, and paying off that war/technology speech at the beginning of this episode. I'd imagine something like Stryker's 'go through anyone to do it' line from the phone call turns into trying to use Octavia to get Stolas, squishy-center hearted Millie tries to stop him and gets nabbed as a hostage against Blitz, taking both actually (to Stryker's mind) dangerous opponents off the field, Blitz and Stolas, and Moxxie gets to Rambo finally because Stryker thinks he can toy with him.

I know a lot of people are saying stryker would be better for blitz than stolas, but honestly they both are pretty similar, stryker only showing interest in blitz to get close to stolas, to manipulate him into believing they will partner up together and kill the un-killable but it’s seems like one of those villains tropes where he says they will do it together but in the end he will backstab blitz, also if Stryker really was better for blitz he wouldn’t threaten to kill blitz’s very close friends unlike stolas who actually talks to them, comes to their rescue in ep 6 and doesn’t threaten ever, I know stolas is also very manipulative but he’s only doing to get closer to blitz as it seems he has true affection for blitz, I don’t think Stryker would be good for blitz

What’s also great is that it has actual gravity and momentum as well as consequences such as when moxie is thrown to the wall, bounces off it and roles rather than in typical movies either takes the hit or hits the wall and gets back into the fight. Also as you said the show runs on stakes and consequences such as when moxie has a dilemma on shooting a family and was genuinely compassionate towards them, which resulted in blitz getting shot and milky getting tied to a stake and set on on fire, plus the show doesn’t drag you down with boring monologues or explanations and simply lets the dialogue and scenes play out for themselves such as when milly went full on DOOM mode on snake because he hurt moxie, where there no HOW DARE YOU, I’LL KILL YOU FOR THAT and so on it’s just pure rage and violence, and again with Jessica mayday when she simply sums up her relationship as A quick night out, stole her car and did nine laps around hell and spent the rest of the money on Pony riding lessons which equates their relationship as terrible and is mocked at by moxie

Also, I think Stolas does want to divorce Stella, and would even pay alimony for her to ease her hurt, but... I think she only cares about her reputation. I mean, even if Stolas is a cheater, that's STILL your baby daddy...

I don't think Stolas uses the Grimoire to show off. The harvest moon festival is only once per year and he needs it every month. Also Stella could probably divorce Stolas but she doesn't because she wants to inherit his fortune when she kills him.

Stolas' wife doesn't deserve to be cheated on. Stolas and his daughter do not deserve to be emotionally neglected and/or abused. They both do deserve to be loved, the only difference is that Stolas actually found it.
