Actually 2 things that never come up in the series that should from this not canon pilot is the I.M.P. Commercial (theme song) and Blitzø’s version of taking the book from Stolas. Also some fun Hazbin Hotel things going on around and in the background, especially the 666 News, where you can even see Charlie and poster with Katie Killjoy. Anyway no harm in seeing all what’s created from the artist especially the brainstorming

so big thing to keep in mind watching Helluva Boss is most characters are hellborne (native to Hell born and raised) unlike most of the characters in hazbin Hotel being Sinners (humans who died and were sent to hell) I.M.P is hired to head up to earth and give the living a fast track to the afterlife.

Interesting: so it gives us a whole new perspective on Viv's Hell. Hazbin showed us the Sinner's perspective, and now we get to see the Hellborne's.

This is somewhat incorrect. The show is not "public domain", the creators just allow others to repost episodes on KZbin without copyright claiming them for takedown. They do however block monetisation of those reposts. So a reactor has to edit or censor the episode if they want to make money from their reaction.

Blitz having an obsession on Moxxie and Millie (or M&M, as they are called as a couple) makes so much sense once you have the full contex about his past and development. And Stolas... I bet you will end up loving him. He is so funny and adorable... and the fact they bleep his swearing is so hillarious, because that only happens when his swearing has a sexual component in it. Nevertheless, Stolas is a fan favorite precisely because he is both entertaining and a complex character. And that deal he made with Blitz over the use of his grimoire will be the root of the biggest drama in this entire series.

Yes, it's not canon (How many pilots are ever completely canon (even Hazbin is just soft canon)? But, her watching it still doesn't hurt, since she'll be able to see what's going on in the canon series as she carries on. And that's seriously what will matter at the end of the day.

Dude this is not canon so I have no clue why you’re reacting to it. All the important stuff from it got rewritten to some extent OR referenced later with different context. I didn’t even share this with my mom when we watched the show together, always confusing to me when people say “hi react to this NON-CANONICAL episode” seriously to me “non-canonical” means ignore or don’t touch it or don’t watch it

Theres no problem with watching it whether it’s cannon or not. It’s just for fun. It’s also cool to see how some characters changed.

No, non-canon just means it has details that won't line up with the rest of the series. It's still great to see the origin of the series and people watch shows for entertainment while this is entertaining. Main canon isn't the only important thing. Just like watching harry potter wouldn't be canon to this universe, but it's still its own thing and isn't reliant on being canon to something else for that. Just think of it as its own standalone series that is also the origin of the general series.

As long as she knows it's not canon, I think it's still fine to watch to see where the series started. Also, some moments are still relevant, like the scene of Blitz stealing the book that isn't referenced again until later in the series. There's no reason to be so hostile about it 😐 Edit: Also Blitz stalking M&M isn't mentioned enough in the canon episodes. I think the habitual nature of his stalking is lost without the pilot
