The team had to take i think 3 months to make the episode so yeah, they did an awesome job! NOTE: I know that animation takes an incredibly long time to make like over a year for a single episode sometimes. I'm not saying this is easy to get out in 3 months. I know how much effort and how long it takes to make just a single full colored and shaded bg nonetheless moving multiple characters one frame at a time. For all I know they already started working on this before episode 2 came out, idk I don't work on it. I'm only estimating bc what I do know is based on their Twitter posts, which there's usually a month gap until the next episode but this one was told they needed an extra month or two to get it finished and it took 3 months since the last episode to premiere. That's all I'm stating, what I've seen and observed during the gap. And no Moxxie and Blitz didn't have the same trip, as obvious in the detail where Moxxie was having an honest musical trip with disney-esque animation, and Blitz' was more like a nightmare of his insecurities and fear. Plus nobody ever had the same trip and wouldn't really make any sense since Blitz and Moxxie are two completely different people with two very different things they need to see. The rules of death are different for the type of demons. Lower demons, like imps and hellhounds (the main cast) and I think inccubi and succubi, can die easily by any means except if it includes normal fire. Sinners (mortal people who have died and gone to hell) can be killed easily but they don't stay dead. They just respawn later. Then there are Higher demons which includes the Ars Goetia family (Stolas or owl prince and his family), the 7 princes of sins/hell, and the King of Hell himself Lucifer with his family. In hell they can't be killed or die by hell or earth means. But both higher demons and sinners can only be killed and die permanently by Angelic weapons or a weapon including Angelic technology like the gun in episode 5.

I imagine episodes take longer than you think to bring to life. There is the planning and concept stage. Sketching out a storyboard. Writing all the dialogue and song lyrics. Which includes many lines that they won't actually use. Scheduling sessions for voice actors and that by itself is a lengthy process. Actors can say lines dozens of times before they get the one they want. And animation. My god, animation takes up a fat chunk of time. Even with all the animators on deck there's still thousands of frames to draw. That doesn't even include coloring, shading and FX. Then the audio engineer has to sync all the voice actor's lines to their characters. Add music and sound effects. Even if everything goes perfectly with zero hiccups along the way that's months of hard work.

@@OnePolishMoFo ik, every creative work takes a long time. I'm just estimating since it's usually a month for the other episodes they've made, they have a large team that work on the episodes in every department including storyboarding, animating, color, light and fx (this one they had two studios working on this episode), the length of each episode goes a little longer each time this being their longest episode yet, and from livestreams they have mentioned that all their future episodes have already had their lines recorded.

It just looks like they were quietly going through their trips, like similar to looking brain dead. And then at the end of it it looks like they're waking up so that kind of made me think they didn't mumble these thoughts to one another.

Lucifer is one o fhte 7 deadly Sins, He is pride. The order was as follows iirc: Lucifer Charlie & Lillith 7 Deadly Sins (minus Pride/Lucifer) Ars Goetia Overlords (Hellborn and Mortal ones) Sinners (can only be permakilled by angelic weapons) (most of the) Hellborn (Succubi etc.) Imps and Hellhounds (lowest of the Hellborn)

Blitzo & Moxie's argument pre-trip had two callbacks= Moxie's comment on Blitzo's tacky suit refers back to the pilot when Blitzo tries to get them to comment on his suit. Blitzo's comment on "ugly horny cats" calls back to ep4 C.H.E.R.U.B and the Imps cosplay as characters from CATS musical" Blitzo was Rum Tum Tugger, Moxie was Mr. Mistofelees and Mollie was Victoria.

I like these guys but I honestly believe, after watching many of their reactions..that they do it because everyone else does it They think demons are innately dead Thought loona is a werewolf (or apparently a cat) Which means they weren't paying attention to the spring broken episode Asked why none of the DHORKS agents are using guns even though it literally got explained (because Japan's edo period weapons are badass) They are too focused on making their silly jokes and banter to pay attention to what's going on. The agents and their organization are using swords and various melee weapons because they think it's cool 😂 If you rewatch the snippet of agent 1 lamenting out loud why they're only using weapons from Japan's edo period, agent 2 shakes him and says that Japan's edo period was badass and he knows it XD So of course, they can be more practical and use heavy fire power. But! They're d.h.o.r.k.s for a reason 😂

Here we go you you guys are going to love this episode Also to answer your questions demons can die you see in the hell up a boss and hazbin hotel universe they share the same universe. Demons and earthbound sinners who were killed in life and then were sent to hell. Can die again demons can grow old and then die so can earthbound sinners but it's very hard to kill demons since they can regenerate it's very hard to kill earthbound sinners because they can regenerate. An earthbound sinners have a different form a combat mode if you will to make them more monstrous and demonic. And so do the upper echelon of demons have this combat form that's why I Stolas said what's wrong hunters never met a real demon before. Because stolas is a prince of hell a very powerful demon he's not like if I had to say in the echelon of power he ranks a number two. And the whole poltergeist thing that he was doing he wasn't physically there he can't physically enter the human world. But he can possess people and affect the world around him and trick people into summoning him. By possessing them it would have been a much different story if he had his grimoire. But obviously he doesn't need it he can teleport himself back down to hell. Now you probably same to yourself wait a minute isn't Moxie and the hell of a boss crew demons their imps imps are the lowest of the low right next to Luna who is a hellhound. In terms of power imps outrank hellhounds that's why they keep them around as pets. And hellhounds are a bit more subservient to imps because they're very powerful not that luna can't handle herself. Luna is a hellhound and hellhounds are very useful to amps all they have to do is smell a person's name and they can track that person down. Without having their sent but A scent is a little bit better much more solid and grounded. And if you're wondering why they're not using guns is was just explained they're using weapons from Japan's edo. The edo. Was when they just use swords bows and ninja weapons not using guns but then everything changed when Oda Nobunage introduce guns into Japan and just completely decimated his rivals. The edo period Was pretty cool full of samurais and swords and stuff but in practical when oda showed up and started crushing them with matchlock rifles.

I think on his own if he's summoned to the mortal realm he is only allowed to make a portal straight to hell when he's done with whatever business he was summoned for. Plus he seems to use the book as a simpler way to travel to earth as well as for ceremonial purposes and visiting other solar systems, planets and moons.
