This is so good, it almost makes me forget that you crapped yourself in first semester figure drawing at Ringling College of Art and Design.

Ive got a question, feel free to not answer!! How do they distribute the scenes amongst the animators? Since they all are random, short clips from the episodes?
@squawkwardd4 ай бұрын
@@ingifadhil3548 I don't actually know the specifics on how they assign shots, but for helluva we can ask for however many seconds we can complete before the episode deadline :) so people who are busier with other projects or can only work part time may only get assigned a couple short scenes, and people who have full time availability get a bigger workload!

@@squawkwardd I’m wishing all the luck to y’all then!! Thank you for your reply and hard work!!

Do you need to have a high level on animation to do clean up or can someone with good digital drawing skills can do it ? Also, i was wondering, why some elements are sometimes in other Colors, like red, or blue, or purple, in certain scenes ? I think i got an idea about why it is, but im not sure.
@squawkwardd8 ай бұрын
you should definitely have a video reel with some examples of cleaned up animation if you're applying for cleanup artist positions, digital drawing examples usually won't do it. usually i color code elements of my roughs so it's easy to isolate or focus how that element is moving (for pieces that move independently of a characters main body, or secondary action, etc)
@aaazzz83248 ай бұрын
@squawkwardd Ok, so my guess for the colour code was right. Thank you for answering

Hi! I wanna be a lineart / cleanup animator (2D) any advice?
@squawkwardd9 ай бұрын
i recommend watching zebirdbrain's videos on clean up in toonboom harmony for technical information on using the program! A workflow I like to use is cleaning up keyframes first (flip frames to keep volumes consistent, no onion skin) then doing breakdowns and inbetweens (with the help of the onion skin) using a mixture of redrawing and just copy/pasting/transforming the lineart from ur keys
