The WORST thing about 350z’s ...

Soooooo 350z’s only become super annoying when it comes to finding the correct seat mount for a passenger bucket seat ...
And I’m seriously feeling it this time .
Usually I get pretty lucky and I can find something that’ll suffice but this is NOT going to cut it .
But I’m working on a solution 😉 stay tuned . In the mean time , don’t buy planted mounts for the passenger seat of your Z If you’re planning on running sliders .
I’m only 5’0 and my head was almost touching the Ceiling of the car which is why I wouldn’t recommend this particular set up -
Other than that , the planted mounts are fine on the drivers side with no sliders !
I like to run sliders so that anyone can drive my car comfortably - due to my shortness in height , if i have to ask anyone to move my car it makes it tough when they’re cramped in my seat position without sliders -
all bucket seats are different , some are molder higher , wider , thinner or shorter than others - but this particular combo is not ideal for a 350z specifically which is why custom seat mounts will be a better & safer solution*
Onward & upward . I’m determined to get these Status seats in the car , they’re suede 🤤

I've got the same problem with my rx8, the Planted seat mounts seem to be about as low as you can get but are still too high. I can't use sliders on the driver side and have to take out the seat cushion when I wear a helmet on track so I don't hit the roof!

I got that problem with the seats.... status did not have a seat for my size.... so i went with the Sparco evo XL, now i have to mod the brackets from budyclub slider.... what a pain....

That’s a bummer, being a part of the Status team, I have noticed how much work they put into consistently improving their brand and their products, hopefully they’ll have some big boy seats coming soon! I think they’ve gotten a few requests for it already

other channels with 350z just give up on the idea of adjustments they just cut and re weld the seat to fit them the driver

I have to tell you that last night I was watching the Simpsons when a a Kia commercial came on now I don't necessarily watch commercial but this Kai was jumped a small gap doing spinning around doing a 180 and for what ever reason they showed the driver and I was like hey I know who that is! It was your dad!

Can you cut and weld the standoffs for the bracket? You wont be able to sue them if your seat flies out in a crash but it'll get you sliding!
