If you're asking for the life cycle & if I've understood it right, eggs/gravid segments or proglottids are passed through feces on the ground (they move out of the fecal matter to grassy areas) - cattle get infected by ingesting vegetation contaminated with eggs or gravid proglottids - embryos hatch in the intestine of the cattle to give out oncospheres - penetrate intestinal walls using suckers & migrate to striated muscles - develop into cysticerci (cysticercus can survive for upto several years in animals) - humans infected by ingesting raw/uncooked infected meat. In humans, cysticercus develops over 2 months to form an adult tapeworm. The adult tapeworm then attaches itself to the small intestine with their cortex & resides in there. Adults produce proglottids which mature, become gravid, detach from the tapeworm & are passed in the stool.
