Help Faieka Achieve Her Dream to Become a Doctor

Faieka Johnson is the second of four children. She lives with her mom, stepfather and siblings in a makeshift home in their landlord’s backyard. There are only 2 beds between the 6 of them, and there’s no running water or electricity in their home. Life is harsh and unsafe for families in the Cape Flats.
Faieka looks forward to Madrassa and school every day. She does well in all her subjects, with Maths and English being her favourite subjects. She wants to study further and dreams of becoming a doctor; she is enthusiastic about helping people who are sick or hurt.
Faieka dreams of helping her family find their way out of poverty, and one day live in a home that meets their needs.
