Everyone talks about kael all the time but I went a different route in mind. I went athel for my new account wanting to deal with fireknight easier in mind. And I did not regret the choice, got her to 60 with the help of all the goodies and even got drath as one of my main reviveers. I much prefer athel since I can use her everyday in all the content Im doing. Not to mention I've got a solid use out of skelator for my team's, make debuff landing easier and extending debuffs aswell,ive got him at 60 with masteries and I'm gonna wait on the skill books for a champion training

There's certainly nothing wrong with Athel, particularly on Fire Knight with that A1 that also applies strong Weaken; of the rares that have Weaken, only Halberdier also has it on the A1 but on a 25% chance, 50% when fully booked, whereas Athel is 75% on a triple hitter, bookable to 100% Aesthetically she's my favourite starter, and I acquired her from shards not long into Raid and is still my primary damage dealer for Sacred Order FW about 7 months in. The reason so many consider Kael to be the best starter is Poisons; best way to get started into Demon Lord which is the most important thing to get done daily, and has the most longevity - I think the only rare that is better than Kael in the role of Poisoner is Frozen Banshee, and even then I think it's only because she brings the sensitivity debuff as well.

I genuinely don't mean this in a hostile way, but how do some people have so little game sense? some form of speed increase and/or cc is mandatory in everything that is turn based, and in the case of Raid specifically we have turn meter manipulation be it boosting our own or reducing the enemy's, so the absence of High Khatun or an alternative is truly baffling to me.

@@MGShadow1989 to be honest alot of people get into the game and feed the wrong champions or have little game sense and dont want to look up videos on any of it. Even i made the mistake of feeding the wrong champs in the beginning. I fed my lightsworn long time ago but I didn't plan on playing this game that long. I absolutely despise ad interruptions and this game is beyond saving when it comes to that. Ill eventually get tired of this game again soon and delete it. again. But will most likely come back. Because i jate to throw away something i put so much time in. Thats the only reason I still play the game tbh

@@NJerzeyGamer - oh I absolutely made mistakes myself, such as leveling too many poisoners for Demon Lord so other debuffs weren't landing, didn't understand the importance of accuracy either. What I'm getting at is overall game sense, in regards to the importance of speed increase, decrease, stuns, in a turn based RPG; this is part of every turn based RPG from Pokemon to a few Final Fantasy games to the likes of BG3. If turns exist, getting more or preventing enemy turns is vital. I can't stand the pop ups in Raid, especially on login; we all know the game is monetised to hell, we all know where the shop is, no need to throw all the 'deals' in our face, lol The primary reason I play Raid is I genuinely enjoy the core mechanics, particularly how DoT's are implemented. I also find some degree of satisfaction in not spending - not entirely free, but the main things I enjoy cost no energy.

you can get about 1k energy daily through regeneration and the free potions. So he's really wasting a lot more energy hoarding it during the 5 months.
