Hi! I have a Dooney suede satchel in red. Purchased in August, 2021. I have carried it occasionally the last three F/W rainy seasons in California. Still looks great and all I do is brush it with a toothbrush every now and then. I have never used protectant or cleaners. I would like my next suede bag to be the Charleston tote because I need just a little more room than the satchel holds, and it also has an outside pocket, like my satchel. Hi Mo, I am a big fan of Dooney’s suede. I own the Domed Satchel in Amber and the Brynn in Olive. I love them both, but Amber is my favorite. They are such great Fall colors, but you can’t go wrong with any of the colors IMHO. I don’t worry about wear and tear because my bags aren’t everyday bags. I did spray them with Apple Guard spray for extra protection though. You have such great taste so I know you’re going to pick a beauty! 🥰

I have a suede hobo with the fold over flap…can’t remember the style to save my life. Of course, I sprayed it with Apple Guarde suede protectectant. Works wonders! So, any suede protectant of your choice is a must! Good look! Look forward to seeing what you choose. ❤❤

Hello, Mo. aww so many gorgeous suede bags, I love them all. I would probable go for the Small Messenger in Amber, so cute. I also like the Domed Satchel, navy blue is pretty, so is the olive. I have no suede bags in my closet, but would love to. I have the suede high boots on high heels, but have not worn them for several years. I didn't wear them on rainy weather, but in genera they were pretty carefree. Can't wait to see what you finally choose.❤

I just bought my first suede bag this week. It’s not a Dooney, but I like it so far. I’m going to have to research how to care for suede because I’m afraid I’ll ruin it. I’m wondering what the Dooney olive color looks like in person. The picture is almost mustard but I’m hoping it’s more army green. I like the top handle satchel!

Nice! Congrats on getting your first suede bag. I have bags with suede on it but now a full suede bag. I've just been scared to try them. However, I'm ready now. So I was watching QVC on KZbin, and the olive appears to be more of an army green. I do hope that's the case🤞🏾. If you don't mind me asking, what's the name of your suede bag? @@moknowsbeauty I used to have lots of suede when I was younger you can buy the products for suede and get a suede brush at the shoe stores but it doesn't prevent or relive that much from my experience. But it's worth a try and I feel guilty for being Debbie downer🙃

It’s a beautiful bag. I had it years ago in a Crimson color. As much as I loved it I ended up getting rid of it because it was too large and heavy for an everyday bag for me. I think the only way you’ll know for sure if it’s for you is to try it. 😁
