Jenna as far as I know a bicycle tube valve aren't different sizes. The pump you was trying use is the same as the one you just now gotten from Amazon. The only difference is the other one is a stand up air pump. That lever you just pushed down on the newer one is what lock your pump to the tube vavle to add air. The per one had the same thing but you didn't pressed it down to lock it into place.

Seeing you out of yoga pants is just weird and a little scary. Dress #7 is the best as it says classy but still young and fun. Dress 1 would be my second choice. A lot of the others make you look a bit frumpy. I hate the print on #5, but it makes it to third place for the pockets alone.
