To any grieving campers, I’m with you. The holidays are super tough but I like to remind myself that those that have passed would NEVER want us to be sad on such special days. You don’t have to be with a huge group, just someone that makes you happy and loved is super healing. My mom just passed away on Thanksgiving and my little brother last week. My Daddy passed on Christmas Eve 97. So I’m the last one standing, well me and my nephew. Who’s now with me. What a rollercoaster it’s been, but I have to stay strong for my nephew. I can’t thank this podcast enough for brightening my days. Love you all sooooo much!!! 🥹🤍

Holy moley. One time I got attacked by tons of fire ants after stepping into their nests (unknowingly) in my aunt’s backyard in Florida. Barefoot. It was AWFUL. It was probably almost 20 years ago but the feeling is so visceral!

That sounds horrifiic ☹It's a shame Florida has beautiful weather, but you cannot stroll barefoot and feel grass between your toes! I remember being told to stay off the grass at my grandparents' condo near Tampa for the same reason.
