I stopped listening to your messages in the past because the focus was more on women doing everything to please their men. At the time, I was trying my best through the help of God, loving, praying,sacrificing and submitting to him. Things grew worse, he became so entitled and abusive. Some people are narcissist, they take love and kindness for granted hence the need for a balanced teaching so that victims can know that it is not their fault, the other party has his/her baggage eg anger, ego, poor upbringing etc. I am so thankful to God that you are addressing some issues with men now. Our culture has focused too much on putting the success of a marriage on women, making some men to neglect their responsibilities. This is a balanced message. No man or woman should abuse their spouse. Marriage is for love not for abuse. Thank you Pastor Funke , thank to Mr Okonkwo, you did an Execellent job. ❤️👏👏👏

When you marry the wrong person your life’s purpose can never be found or achieved. You become a wanderer from one end to another. To marry wrong will keep you in a shank and bubbles. So don’t just marry for the sake of getting married because your family is mounting pressure on you.

Pastor K, God bless you for your balance counsel. Most counselors forget that this thing called marriage from beginning to the end is a two way affair. They are quick to tell women what they should do and forget to give the same counsel to the men. They make it look as if everything hangs on the shoulders of women that is why majority of women die in silence but that isn't the case at all. In fact, they should give biblical counsel so that both parties do not suffer out of ignorance of the Word. God bless you Mama Funke.

I give you 3 thumbs up pastor Kingsley 👍👍👍❤️🎂 You are full of God's wisdom. Diligence, you have indeed given yourself up to persistently studying on the word. And that's the big problem of most abusive men, because they're not teachable and not ready to learn anything.... Same are too jealousy when their wives are pressing hard to learn and improve her status .... God Almighty will perfect this efforts you men and women of God are putting to reshape our society.... I celebrate you all Sirs and Mas.....🙏🙏💕❤️🌹

I will have to disagree with Pastor Kingsley when he says men cant sit still to learn as the reason they dont turn out for men conferences. I would say its about value and in some cases arrogance. If the conference was about money' I bet you the hall would be full' because most men have linked man-ness with having money while assuming that just because they are MEN they can keep a woman at home This is where our society needs a mindset change' so many women are not seeking finances' but friendship and companionship.

Undiagnosed mental illness is overlooked most of the times but can be the root cause of certain behaviors. I like the fact that PK brought it up. In developed countries, we can easily have access to statistics to validate that theory but I would be interesting to check if researches or studies were conducted in some countries in Africa.

There are certain things I don’t agree with. There are narcissistic and manipulative women just as they are men. Women that abuse their husbands don’t necessarily do it because their husbands offended them. Some of them are just mean and manipulative and would even abuse the nicest of men.
@angiegrace1028
@angiegrace1028 2 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely right. On the other hand, PK was referring to the cases he encountered in consultation. If you refer to the research on the subject, you will realize that there are many factors and predispositions that lead some women to abuse their partners and others in general. The subject is so vast that PK cannot go into it in such a short time.

@lebogangm234 2 жыл бұрын
Yes there are such women and he acknowledged them but said they are just a fraction, mainly due to childhood traumas. I guess the question is, being a narcissist and manipulative, is it a genetic or acquired trait? If acquired then yes it makes sense why we have more narcissistic men than women, because as he said women are able to listen, learn and adjust their behaviour while men learn by seeing. Do we have enough male role models for men to see “learn” from?
