I grew up in Canada around the time this show was airing originally, and my mom and I would watch episodes when I came home from middle school. I confident that this show played a HUUUUGE role in my financial literacy now as an adult! I LOOOVE Gail so much XD

That lady is toxic af. No relationship is worth your piece of mind and she’s clearly robbing their family of any financial security down the road. At that point it would be cheaper to divorce her and just pay the child support so she can finally figure out how difficult it is to carry a family in my opinion.

I hate the entitlement I see. I work a stable trade, my wife works in a department store and we have enough for extra stuff like ice cream, and going to the movies. We are more than content with everything we have because we work hard and are intentional with every expense. Kind of makes me wonder how many people would rather look wealthy, than knowing what the true meaning of wealth actually feels like.

Join The Club! I also liked seeing Documentaries with Suze Orman, Serano Kelly and Victor Antonio. My system is this for managing my money. I get paid every second week, I add up all of my bills divide by Two then each week, I have what I need to pay my Bills. I know when they are "due" , I live in Canada so my Bills are debited on certain days of the month most notably the end. I take an excel sheet and keep track of my bank balance then every second thursday, I get my Payroll Sheet, then I budget, then I know what I will get. Then I get up extra early, pay my Bills, get a confirmation number, then I put a Check Mark on my Excel Sheet. I print my Bill that comes to me online, then I write the confirmation Number, take a date stamp, to confirm that it was paid. Gail Vaz Oxlade doesn't play. She also has a show called Princess as well.

Also being a flight attendant you can make $130k+ depending on how many hours you choose to work. It's also very flexible to free up time to do other things like my food truck. You can't beat having free flights for your family too

My last gf was like that, wanted my to buy her thousands of dollars bags and brand new cars.... i was a uni student at the time. She got a second hand car, and when she started uni i got her a laptop. She ended up getting pregnant to a guy who will do what she wants... even though he cant afford it either. Sucks to be cheated on, but dodged a bullet.
