seventeen never disappoints- from music, choreo, production, and visuals! they’ve got it all. all members can basically do everything and they would wreck you so hard! check out their live performances as well if you could on your free time! getting closer live was insane! btw enjoyed this marathon so much caitlin!

This Seventeen Era (Clap) was my first comeback with them, and since then, they've remained as my ult group. I remember back in the days when Change Up was released. It had very different style from other SVT songs, more mature, more 'special'. It meant that a change was about to happen. Every sunday we would get the other Unit songs in this order: Change Up, Trauma, Lilili Yabbai and Pinwheel. Four weeks that led up to a great comeback with Clap. I still remember back in my first year of University, waking up each Sunday during a whole month, to watch the videos and get excited about the songs and the way these were filmed. Each one had its style and its signature sound. In a way, this 'change' that began with Change Up, also translated into the way they produced their songs. I don't know but it felt like they were more involved in the creative process and were more in charge now. The way all these four videos are represented in Clap, which is kind of a meta commentary on how they produced the music videos was amazing. You can see how each of the four videos has its cameo in Clap and well, the MV is actually talking about producing music videos. I love watching other people react to these videos. There is a special depth to them and what the signified for us so I'm glad other people can enjoy them as well.

As my niece tells me whenever she watches Seventeen....There is no way you can pick a bias . Believe me, I have tried to get her to narrow it down because she is costing me money. Right now, she is fixated on Vernon "Give Daddy a Heart Attack" Chwe (Seriously, that is what she says every time she says his name). However, this can change tomorrow or 10 minutes from now. She got me watching them because I like talent. I like artist who self produce themselves. Their dancing is phenomenal. I tend to stay away from artist who "copy and paste" (if that makes sense). As for the song "Change Up", I think it means that they are not a cookie-cutter group. Everyone can do everything and that is refreshing. They prove that statement over and over. By the way, you should watch the Maknae Line (Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino) performing "Change Up". I was shocked because they literally change it up. Seungkwan did Hoshi's part....Dino did S. Coups part and the one that had me all kinds of shook.. Vernon did Woozi's part. They did a great job.

For svt the rappers can sing and the singers can rap hahha, I can't run away from their last album was a ballad and a hip-hop team song, they often exchange music's during caratland so we've seen Vocal team rapping, you need to see yoonzino in action.. Dino is both a rapper and vocalist so it's hoshi, but Dino switch positions more often

Seventeen is never boring, they're a full fledge ENTERTAINERS! I've been a seventeen fan for a good 4 years and throughout those years, they have always served good quality music. That's the main reason why I love these boys so much. Every single one of them gives a different color and a different flovor into the table, that when either apart or together, they can create something extremely surprising (even for their fans). They use their numbers to good and strategic ways that leaves their fans asking for more. There are different types of fans in the Kpop industry. There are fans that follow an idol group because they're proficient dancers. Some follows great vocalists while others follow those that have a solid rap line in the group. But SVT has all those things. They were initially created tol potray those roles and I promise you they did a hella good job doing it. I strongly encourage you to listen to their vocal unit and Japanese releases. I'm a sucker for a great ballad song and SVT has the best voices in the KPOP industry (DK and SK and Woozzi, Jeonghan and Joshua's voices compliments them well). I know you'll enjoy it! I just wanna say that I think it was funny that you mentioned liking Jeonghan's voice in Adore U lol. Fun fact: Jeonghan has no lines in the studio recording of Adore U, any time he's in center is actually Seungkwan singing. Heard it was because he got sick or SOMETHING made it difficult for him to record his parts. Nowadays in more recent performances Jeonghan will sing his parts, though

Agree or not but seventeen are one of the gem group of kpop industry. They are self producing group. They produce their own songs, choreograph by own, they can direct mv , they make fanchant by themselves, they participate for making merch, light stick, they divide their work for concerts like lightning, stage decorations, etc, they participate for making contents, for their variety show(going seventeen ) etc. They does everything in their own since pre debut .coming from small broken company they have struggle so much in past. Because of their hardwork they are now million sellers, have broken many achievements, other non- fans always discredit seventeen and always talk seventeen as underrated group but that's not true, if you know seventeen u know how big seventeen now and they have come so far. They have achieved so much and they are 2nd biggest boy group in sk rn. Their growth and popularity is slowly but steadily growing. This group is one of the most respected group in industry. They are loved by both seniors and juniors. That's why they are called 'Self Produce group' In seventeen all 13 members can sing, rap and are best dancers. U can put them any unit They will still shine. Rappers can sing.People only know about their dance but if you are seventeen fan you will know Seventeen has one best vocals in industry.their lyrics are meaningful and it is so well done. All are very talented. Having 13 members in a group is already big deal but seventeen has very precious teamwork and strong bond they are not idol group but they are Family. That's why their team work put impact on their performance, they have truly trust on each other that makes their synchronization on point. This group will teach that what's teamwork is. The other important thing is they loved their fans( Carat) so much. They always wants to pay back for their fans for supporting them through their hardwork, better performance . THE STRESSED APPLICATION OF LIP GLOSS TOOK ME O U T LMAO. What's so unique about "Getting Closer" is that it was actually the first title track Seventeen ever did that had a truly "dark" concept; and likewise it shocked a LOT OF US💀 It was so out of the ordinary for them that the entire fandom was just a confused mess during that whole comeback. I remember watching it for the first time the day after it came out and just being in shock but also extremely happy because one of my favorite groups was starting to explore darker concepts. Seventeen really are able to pull off anything and everything. They're so talented I love them so much and I'm SO happy you got into them as one of my favorite reaction channels😭❤️

I just wanted to mention that in the Adore U MV, you actually hear Seungkwan during Jeonghan's parts (especially the chorus part). We they did it like this we don't know, and obviously Jeonghan does sing the part now during concerts etc, but in the MV it is Seungkwan singing with Jeonghan's face in the corner ....

i was so excited when i saw you tweet about doing a svt marathon and even MORE excited when i see this video drop along side a nct dream video!!! (gonna watch nct one next hehe) and i’m so glad you’re getting into svt! they’re super talented, hardworking, genuine and lovable boys and if you have the time, i definitely suggest watching their shows (one fine day s1, knowing brothers, going svt etc) and also their japanese title tracks! their japanese title tracks are beautifully written and i always love the lyrics and choreography for them! it hits different!! btw getting closer was actually first revealed on mama, imagine our shock watching it KDNSKDNS and idk if you noticed but there were figurines of the change up mv in the clap video too! i loved the teenage era with the title track clap because they came out with an mv for each of the units (you should check them out if you have time!) !!!

Dino actually raps a lot!! He’s my fav rapper in the group :) Unfortunately, he doesn’t really show his rapping skills much in title tracks but it’s really highlighted in the performance unit songs and other bsides! Also when you said “i love Jeonghan’s voice on Adore U” 😭 Jeonghan was sick at the time of recording Adore U, so he couldn’t record his part. Because of that, Seungkwan recorded it and it’s Seungkwan’s voice on the track. Jeonghan sings the live performances tho!

from your adore u reaction: YES!! dino raps!! whenever he raps, it’s pretty much automatically my favorite part of the song. i love rapper dino, he actually has an unreleased solo song where he raps called “the real thing”. he’s Main dancer, sub rapper, and sub vocalist really our all rounder maknae, also his charisma and stage presence my gosh.. also choreographs his own dances for his dance series called “dino’s danceology” and has a hand in choreographing some of seventeens songs as well! multi talented maknae i love him. he’s not even my bias but i can go on and on and on about how much i love him LMFOAODOA

GETTING CLOSER IS THAT GIRL. I was shaken to my core watching the music video and listening to the song for the first time 💀 Highkey still think it deserved to be a title track. Also yes, that was DK in the beginning lol. Also also, as someone who's bias wrecker is Dino, that dance break never let's me experience peace. Edit: Hoshi and Dino do quite a bit of rapping as well. That'll become more apparent as you listen to more of their music lol

if you ever want to see more svt performances, you should definitely look at "lilili yabbay." it's the performance unit's (hoshi, minghao, jun, dino) best performance in my opinion. the music video is a work of art. i remember watching it when it first came out and being mind blown by the choreography
