Maybe this is a turning point for wild turkey for instance what the University of Florida is prepared too do in a more advanced format to ensure we understand wild turkeys and the challenges that are under the surface that we haven't got too grasp in whole......it's a good commitment and an effort that won't ever be forgotten because I would be pretty sure their will be solutions because of a real sense by many about the value of having wild turkeys along side of us healthy as we can do.....my hats off too UF for their sincerity.........😊

Hey fellas .. I think the idea of a signed turkey call sounds amazing! I would not know weather to use it in the field or place it in a shadow box? What do you guys think about a tube call or wing bone call? The wing bone would be very biology ..lol! Anywho, thank you fellas again for all your hard work. I love every second of it! Have a great day Doctors! Charles S Merrill

A short or clip video could be different types of sprays and where they’re used and what they target. as far as safe around different tree types, soil active, time of use for different objectives.

I just want too add that my belief as too why our wild turkey population is under pressure is all the factors which has been discussed in previous episodes and they are all related to the conditions we are shaping for them.......i think we can and should do better in that these conditions will take them from pressured to harmful and sometimes that doesn't take long and we have a significant slide down.......😊

" The game manager, in attempts to improve habitat, must continually search through the range of potentially limiting factors seeking one that can most practically and economically be remedied. Habitat research and management have sometimes been defined as attempts to discover limiting factors and then to remove each in turn until the maximum feasible production of wildlife is obtained ". exert from " wildlife biology" by Raymond F. Dasmann... Great book!

Do you do you know if you have any positive meadowlark response in your trukey habitat projects? Just wondering because they seem to have more specific habitat needs, like they nest in the thick grasses of large open acreages bassed on what I've read, and you guys are like forbs forbs forbs, plus I know you both have recognized different bird calls in the areas that you have managed. So I am sorry if my question was obtrusive or off topic, but I wanted to glem your real world knowledge on the subject to see if the near single focus management of turkeys was at least partially alinged with the protection of this species. At least it would be nice if it were. Thank you! 😊

Hey guys what do you think about bringing Mr. Luke Garver, Illinois wild turkey manager, on to address some of the issues Illinois is having? That would bring in a lot of views! A lot of people really want to know whats going on in Illinois.. Thanks guys
