Hello! I'm quite confused about the last two graphs you drew in this video, so can we say they are heteroscedasticiy in these two cases?

Hi Nerissa, The graph at 9:52 is heteroskedastic. If you give me x, I can guess the variance of the error (if the y are far or not from the line on average). Because changing the x position changes the variance, it is heteroskedastic. The last graph is not (it's a trap). It might look heteroskedastic because it looks narrower at each end, but it is just because we have less data points. If we had more data points near the extremities we might see that there is as much variance as in the middle. I hope this helps.
