I think I'll get one. I took my daughter's vehicle for an oil change (got four free ones when we bought it) and they were supposed to do a health check. They didn't check the battery and it has been sounding a little slow with the cold weather. The battery looks new but that means nothing as you know. It is probably four years old. My Ranger's battery died on I-75 at a rest station when it was hot outside but I had just spent 2 hours in Atlanta bumper to bumper traffic. Batteries are easy to change, but it is darn inconvenient when they go poof.
