I like to imagine that just like there are different human ethnic groups and different breeds of wolves with different characteristics and adaptations for different environments, there would be different types of werewolves from different regions of the world that have different attributes. For example, I could imagine a type of werewolf analogous to an Alaskan timberwolf who's super fluffy and just absolutely miserable in the Summer heat but who takes cold weather very well. In the Summer, the Italian wolf gives the Alaskan timberwolf a good-natured ribbing for not being able to handle the heat, but then when Winter comes along the Italian wolf finds that he's having a much more difficult time with the weather than his friend. IDK. Just a random thought about if werewolves were real...
