The timing of this is impeccable, I'm a switch mercy main but just got a new computer and tried playing on PC for the first time last night! It feels so nice being able to easily 180 turn and just look around, but I'll have to almost completely relearn my mechanics on mouse and keyboard with how different it is to the switch 😂

Oh that's absolutely perfect timing! Hopefully the video gave you some good insight :> It definitely takes time to go from console to PC so try not to get too frustrated as you're transitioning from the platforms!

Its hard as a switch player. The frames are so awkward and it's just weird. People also think switch players don't exist but we do. I'm glad seeing one of my fellow switch players getting some recognition.😊

i’ve been playing mercy on switch for over a year now and i’ve gotten pretty good at my own play style. i’m definitely nowhere close to eleyzhau level mercy, but i’ve played her for 156 hours now and i have a 59% win rate. i say my own play style because, although i’ve gotten quite good at movement with these settings, i play with toggle crouch. i’ve tried playing with “better” settings, including those from the skiesti video with person saying their controller settings, but i just can’t play with them. i tried the different settings cause they were supposed to be better for mercy’s movement, but i still do well with the settings i have and enjoy so i just don’t see the need to change them anymore. when i can afford it i would like to learn how to play on pc tho.

I was in plat but dropped to gold 3. I have a hard time focusing and trusting my other support and my movement is a bit messy. It probably doesn’t help that im on a switch lite lol

My thing I struggle with as mercy is the higher in rank I go the more I get targeted…I’m not ready to be the center of a whole teams attention…any tips?

Nothing you can really do about it but you can play more cover like sticking to buildings and try not to always be in the air cause they can just shoot you down

I would absolutely love for you to watch my gameplay because I'm always wondering how my positioning is and when I should do this or that. I started playing ow a couple of months ago I think and immediately picked up mercy. I've been watching eleyzhau and have been trying to implement some of their tips into my playstyle without entirely copying them. Of course I intend to watch your guides and future coaching vids to try and improve but your advice seems so helpful. Not sure if I'd have to pay for one of ur lessons tho, I'm hoping to get it for free if possible since that's the only way I can do it at the moment lol

What does it mean to peak?

When talking about it in reference to Mercy, asking someone to peek you is to ask someone to very quickly appear in your line of sight so that you can fly to them. When peeking AS Mercy, you're briefly looking around corners or areas to get information without fully committing to going forward OR you're briefly moving in and out of cover to maintain beam connection Hopefully that helps!

I’m a switch player and new player to Overwatch 😭😭 I’ve been playing different characters but I’m on a bad losing streak which could be because I’m not used to fps games, but Moira has been my favorite to play because I worry less about everything going on. I even got the Moira pixel spray as well as the pixel spray for reaper :0 It also feels like I’m getting paired with people way above my skill level.. I have only played like maybe 40-60 games and these people have apparently played like 200+ games?? It doesn’t seem that fair to me to put people that have way more experience against me who is slowly learning due to all the different abilities and counters which I’m still learning about I
