stuff like that never change, the off ramp sylvan into red deer getting on to hwy 2 at 67 street would literally throw me out of the seat in a bed truck at 50 kph. was like that for 15 years of my driving life, so many places could use attention ive been hitting the same rough stuff for 2 decades in some spots, but they are making improvements, hwy 43 got a bunch of paving over the last 2-3 years

I have people alway taking my safety gap constantly. luckily you had a real bumper me on the other hand with my Tupperware torpedo don't so I'm always worried that if someone was to hit me my truck would explode. take care budd love your content. keep an eye out for K and D transport. hauls trains out of Grande Prarie with a sweeeeeet looking pete for northwest tank lines

When I was young and had a chip on my shoulder I drove stupid and almost did this. Pissed the trucker off real good. My dad put a stop to that. He put me behind the wheel of a wide load. Every mistake I made I got bitched at. "You have a heavy load you need more breaking distance." Or "Take your time your driving with a trailer and nobody cares. You need to cover your own ass." Also some things that can't be shared in polite company.😂 That straightened me up real quick. I give semi trucks lots of room now. If something I want to do will cause the truck to break I don't do it. If i can hold traffic back so a truck can turn I do it. Too bad everyone doesn't have a dad like I do, that refused to let his son be an idiot on the road.

Great cars those Germans make. Had Panamera, great driving, good power, all good till it broke. PCM went out, took 8 mos to get a replacement, all 400 covered by extended warranty. Good luck!

yes they are great till they break, then its triple the cost to fix. this is how i became a mechanic on the side. for the most part ill do any work as my friend has euro shop and all the tools, the problem is i never have time now.

I sold the B6 S4, which I ended up to tall for TTS after a year, just not comfortable for everday traded in for an A5 of course S-line way happy.

would love a s4 v8. would be ideal not ideal. glorious sounds, RS6 would do too. i had thought about the everyday part of the TT and your right the door sills are thicc. and lower roof could be a pain in the ass, but summer id be driving other stuff too. when i get into my mk2 jetta GTX it feels like a full size sedan compared to the hyundai. i have too many wants when it comes to cars. would love to daily a older audi 90 5cyl turbo. the A5 is very nice but large for my garage unfortunately, s3 would have been a better choice overall. but something about the TT has always drawn me to them, time to scratch that itch

would 850 r all day, i dont know if its a 5 cyl. i do like some of the volvos too, im sure theres a car in every brand i had though at one time was cool. i think S60r was another i kinda liked. and ive seen some cool pics of that newer c30 hatch im kinda diggin. i watched a bunch of drifts N lifts on youtube has a bunch of volvos as drift cars, lives in BC

@TimelapseTruckerRTOT yea the 850R has a turbo 5 cylinder a pound more boost then a regular T5. Just the thing with Volvos you will find 50 automatics to one manual woth most of them 🤣 S60R or V70R usually manual a decent 6 speed. I have an S70 T5 basically a facelifted 850 same motor. I have a 3 piece steel headgasket and the turbo and manifold from an s60R, some ARP headstuds, an older Volvos 6 cylinder throttle body cause it bolts right up but is much bigger had to use the non-turbo 5 cylinder manifold cause it cause a larger inlet due to not being forced induction all put an 850R clutch in when I blew up a trans 🤣 Volvos are always awesome in the winter due to weight I have D2 racing coilovers so it's like a go kart.

ew gross....... you get rash from that, ive thought of it a few times but mostly just enjoy bed trucks the most. always loved the chewin and winching, pulling guys out of the ditch, towing up mountains. full erect on that. just not a lot of bed work when you work in a service side of oil, and id get bored if i was doing it everyday moving rigs. i enjoy the lone wolf side of what im doing, go alone, make it happen no matter what

i doubt the driving habits will change, city traffic in edmonton or calgary is ridiculous. just watching the way people drive to gain 1-3 spots. your saving 1 second by being there. i used to be bad but ive calmed down completely after realizing its seconds im saving and its way more stressful driving like that

german cars are the best equipped, nothing compares for fit and finish. ive had german cars my whole life, they've been great to me, all volkswagen tho, audi is just a flashier volkswagen. its all VW under the skin anyways
