I know that not many people will see this comment but today I met a really nice guy who cleans the tables in a food court and throws rests into the bin. He was funny and really kind so I went and bought a meal from McDonald's and just told him that I wasn't hungry anymore. He looked like I just gave him 1 million dollars... he said thank you like 500 times and a few minutes after as I was leaving I saw him eating it with one of his coworkers... this made me feel in a way I have never felt before in my life... it's just an unexplainable feeling. Today I learnt a very important lesson that I will never *in my life* forget. Thanks MrBeast for helping others!

I live in New Orleans and my dad owns a few restaurants. After the storm hit, we took all the salvageable food that we had and worked with World Central Kitchen and Second Harvest to help others in need. It was a very unique experience and it’s so nice to see Jimmy helping out our community like this, I know he won’t see this, but I just want to thank him for this video.

i’m from houma and i remember when the hurricane hit. i went to texas and when i came back we were left in our house for 4 days before someone donated and hooked up us a generator. we even had to ration food and either it it cold or put an air fryer in a car to power it to heat it up. i’m sure you helped our communities greatly.

People say that helping on camera is just selfish pandering. I disagree completely. At least with the Beast crew. Jimmy understands that the best way to help people is to share their stories with as many people as possible. To show that there is somebody doing something to help despite all odds. Not to mention how these videos always make tons of money that he then puts back into his videos and his charity efforts. I live in Louisiana and when the storm came in we didn’t get a lot of damage but many others did. Me and my family went and helped pass out free meals to people in need just like y’all. I had no idea you came down to New Orleans I totally wish I could have met you but I live in Louisiana actually only a couple hours away from New Orleans and our city was hit very hard by hurricane Laura. My immediate family was very fortunate. Thank you Mr beast. Louisiana needed this help. My grandad lives in a small town near Houma and his roof got blown off and many of his neighbors didn’t have a home to come back to at all after this. South Louisiana will never be the same after this but thank you for your help

As a survivor of a Category 5 Hurricane myself (Hurricane Michael) this warms my heart. My family and our entire community was really shell shocked by the hurricane, so seeing another community get destroyed by a similar storm of a similar magnitude makes me really sad and hopeful for them. @@QUBIQUBED thanks for the kind words. Yeah I’m good now, I was in 6th grade at the time and now I’m in 9th grade. It’s insane to think that in less than a month it’ll be 3 years since my life was changed so drastically. Honestly something I’ll never forget. If there is one word of advice I’ll give you, it’s to always stay calm in those situations, and to *always have a generator!* we have a generac generator and we were the only house on our street with power because of it. Everyone else got power weeks after the storm originally hit. Since we live in Florida, we wouldn’t have been able to survive without AC in the October sun, especially not with my grandma’s apartment essentially getting gutted.
