These engineers are building exoskeletons to help kids with cerebral palsy walk. Dr. Zach Lerner is an assistant professor of mechanical engineering at Northern Arizona University. His team is doing a study to see if they can develop robots that assist children with varying degrees of walking impairment due to cerebral palsy. The goal is for them to train on them to correct their walk so that they can eventually walk without them.
