With the injury on her back and her right arm being severely injured I'm going to say she was hit by a car or motor bike. The baby sure was hungry and thirsty. The mango helped with both. Thank you for trying to feed her and giving her water. Please try to keep an eye on these two. The baby may need help. Mom's in bad shape.

Merci à vous tous de vous êtes occupez de cette mère qui était avec son bébé. Elle était me semble t- il dans un état de fatigue importante et déshydraté. Elle a dû apprécier le petit massage dans le dos et le rafraîchissement. Le coca a été une bonne idée pour lui donné un peu plus de force (sucre). Allaité fatigue et de plus ce singe boîte . Sans votre intervention, le petit serait peut-être devenu orphelin. Même dans son état elle a repris son bébé contre elle. Même si les singes vivent dans leur habitat naturel, ils ont besoin d'aide. Vous êtes admirable.😇 J'espère que la santé de cette mère se sera améliorée.

The high-ranking monkeys think they’re so clever by eating the first 1 or 2 slices of mango fast and then coming back for another 1 or 2 slices of mango. But it is very easy to see who has already had a there are slices of mango and who hasn’t had any, their stuff cheeks pouches give them away. I will say one thing the lower ranking monkeys in the background are really good catchers. He threw the slices of mangoes to the low Rankers in the trees or on the ground far back down the hill and they all caught their slices of mango. Good for you lower ranking monkeys!

I was an animal control officer for 25 years and the sick mama monkey by looking at her has either dumb rabies or distemper they’re absolutely identical to each other symptomatically. One can be contracted by humans which is dumb rabies if she bites you deep enough but you can’t contractor Distemper. unfortunately without treatment the end result is not good. With both they are so sick they don’t want to eat or drink. the differences between the two is with distemper they are sick and don’t want to eat or drink but with dumb rabies they cannot eat or drink because it affects their central nervous system.If it is distemper without IV fluids under the skin at least and force-feeding she’s not going to make it. If it’s dumb rabies there’s absolutely no cure both scenarios are not good. By feeding the baby or maybe getting soy milk because the baby is so young and feeding the baby Portridge or mushy stuff like bananas you may be able to save the baby. Unfortunately if mama passes away and no one takes the baby to raise it until it’s eating well on its own that’s the only reason the baby will not make it. If you see that mama has passed away Maybe pick up the baby bring it home so you can give it soymilk even if it’s in a bottle and porridge bananas other soft food when it starts eating well take the baby back to live and learn to be a monkey with its own kind and maybe another mother will adopt it if it is not nursing but at least she’ll grow up with her own. Monkeys learn by imitating their mothers and other monkeys so once she’s eating well she can go back and learn from the other monkeys. knowing that she’s a monkey not some dress-up doll for people to play with. Thanks for taking the time to feed the baby hopefully you can find the baby again tomorrow or the next day if mom is still around. The baby is so very hungry I guess her mama can’t let her nurse either. tomorrow if you see her grab some soy milk she may take it out of a bottle or she may take it out of the finger of a glove with a little hole popped at the end of the finger with a needle. Fill the finger with the soy milk that feels almost like a natural nipple. Maybe you’ll get lucky and she may just drink it out of the box or bottle however soy milk comes there. Always remember that monkeys can only digest soy milk, cows milk can make them very sick. Good luck to mama, baby and you!!

Just a note for you and something you may want to consider since you are working with wild animals and they are unpredictable. I have seen them try to bite you and others. They haven’t really sank their teeth in that deep but it’s better to be safe than sorry when it comes to rabies. You can ask your local doctor or local hospital about getting preventative rabies shots, I received them when I was an animal control officer. The reason you get them is if you do get bit by a rabid monkey or animal you don’t have to go through the whole series you would only need a booster. They give the preventative rabies shot on day zero (which is the 1st shot), then day seven, and the last one on day 21. The preventative shots are given in the arm they don’t really hurt and you can have your tighter checked every year to see if you’re still fully protected. You are such a kind man I would hate for something bad to happen to you where you’ll have to go through a whole bunch of rabies shots. It’s easier to get the preventative shots now and you’re protected.

FIRST LET ME SAY YOU DO A FINE JOB AND DO IT WITH LOVE AND CARE. The one mother with the baby that you helped was amazing. I am quite sure and I believe you know this mom is not well and most likely dying. It may be that if you were able to do this every day for a few weeks that both mother and baby would make it. At least the baby would have a fighting chance. If the mother is in ill health, the baby isn't getting very much milk and the quality would be really weak.

That’s a great way to do the mangoes. Cutting them into 3 parts, that stops the greedy, greedy monkeys from grabbing to whole mangoes. The way you did it cutting them in 3 pieces is a great way for the greedy monkeys to get 2 pieces instead of 2 whole mangoes. The monkeys don’t know the difference 2 or sometimes even 3 whole mangoes or 2 or 3 pieces of mangoes, as long as they have their hands full and 1 in their mouth they’re happy. That gives you a chance to give the lower ranking monkeys something. I always feel sorry for the lower ranking monkeys, especially the low ranking mothers with babies and the males that have been ejected living on the fringes of the troop. The way you cut the mangos in 3 pieces gives them a chance to get a little something, when they usually get nothing at all. It’s easy to tell who’s low ranking because they’re the ones that will not run up for the food because they’re afraid of being bitten and beat up by the higher ranking monkeys. I always see them in the background just sitting there wishing they can come forward and get some of the food and hoping for some leftovers after the higher ranking monkeys are full and leave.

I wanted to cry when I saw the sick monkey and her baby at the end of this video. The mother is really sick if she doesn’t eat or drink then she can’t produce milk for her baby and the baby needs the mother to survive. The poor baby is crying because it’s hungry and the mother being that sick is probably not producing any milk I don’t think the mother is going to make it, she is awfully sick. I don’t know if there’s a rescue organization that will help that sick mama monkey. If the mother dies then the baby will dehydrate and die too. I would have to come back that day and every day too check on the mother and baby, bringing the baby and mother soy milk. If there is no organization to help this poor sick mother monkey then I think I would probably take the baby and raise it till I see the mother feeling much better or the baby starts eating well on its own and then bring her back to the trpop. It’s very rare that another mother monkey will adopt this baby if her mother dies but as long as the baby gets soy milk (digestible for monkeys, cows milk is very hard for a monkey to digest and can get them sick) and some soft foods or porridge, the baby can survive. As soon as the baby is eating solid food well on her own she can go back and live with the troop because monkeys should never be pets. They make terrible pets and after they become sexually mature they can become very very evil.
