oh yeah by the way some fun facts the goob wasn't doing any machines they ran around the map picking up all the tapes and items when they got chased, instead of cutting around the corner to lose the twisted, if there were any teammates nearby they would try to leave the twisted with them instead. also you get 10 tapes from doing a machine you silly billies. plus the goob died to the slowest main anyway. I was just trolling for a bit in the video!!! i didnt plan to actually damage them!!! since me and goob have the same speed stats, i knew he wouldnt get hit!! also there is no point to me distracting since i needed to get as many tapes as possible to heal the noobs (that is the point of the video yknow!) (also distracting the entire time would NOT be an entertaining video) hope this clears some stuff up!!!! :D

It's not an excuse to MAKE AN ATTEMPT griefing someone, considering he has lower stealth than you too. And it doesn't change that you still were judging a person for using a specific toon WHILE also being capable of distracting (by the way did you know sprout and goob have same extraction speed????). If you didn't know, you get tapes from each encountered twisted. Instead of apologizing, you are trying to make excuses and BLAME the other person making them look bad. Is it that hard? And yes, you have same speed as goob, but if he didn't had any speed trinkets and ran out of stamina he could've get hit.

@@kolikolikomikeil6579by that logic the sprout has no speed trinkets either and couldve gotten hit too? goob was far ahead of him and that the twisted was too slow to even focus on goob for long enough to hit him since sprout was always between goob and the twisted... plus he just said the goob wasnt doing anything/helping and was purposely taking all the tapes and items. encountering twisteds only gives THREE tapes per encounter, on early floors that's only 6 tapes if sprout is unable to pick up tapes on the ground because the goob kept taking them all. if anything sprout couldve died before getting to heal or have gotten their first heal by floor 7... and with a goob running around with 2 stealth taking everything from everyone it'd be more risky for sprout with 3 STEALTH to distract since goob would probably take the twisteds easily on early maps and lead them to other people (like he said goob was doing) getting them hurt. i have nothing against goobs who don't distract AS LONG as they actually help the team, but it seemed like this goob was purposely throwing the match because there were a lot of noobs there. its fine to want to defend a goob because they have such a bad reputation but theres no denying that there are definitely goobs who subtly grief and get offended when people are annoyed by them or retaliate

@@nezumint3129 do you understand that griefing NO MATTER REASON is a bannable thing? While he didn't kill goob, he attempted doing so. And im repeating, sprout has MORE stamina than goob, and identical speed that's why he is ABLE TO distract, but it's nobody's job to do so if they don't want to, yet he's juding someone for not doing it? He has no part where goob is acting like that, and even if they did IT'S BETTER TO JUST IGNORE PEOPLE LIKE THAT. I was forced to distract as sprout until floor 24 and was doing fine even with 3-stealth, so it's not THAT bad especially considering the only 2-stealth toon they had in the team was goob iirc. 3 tapes per encounter is actually just fine, especially since they could get extra from veemote completing machine, and picking up some tapes while gathering twisteds. And I'll remind you that sprout has only 2 star skillcheck and 2 extraction speed, while goob has 3-star skillcheck and doing machines logically speaking will benefit goob more than sprout. Sprout and Goob are both support toons, their abilities can support others. I don't understand the point of your comment

Do you think it's a good thing if they're going to be influenced by it, and think "hey that goob/pebble isn't distracting, i should try to kill them since my favourite youtuber tried to do it too!" ? I dont. This community already have enough of these players, and if we keep encouraging them they're just gonna grow into toxic people, who think they're in the right.

personally i think someone should try to host coaching sessions to try to teach new players about the game as this would make new players have a bit more understanding to the game possibly like "abc for a coaching session" or something like that

When I play everytime I ask if anyone wants to do what I call a ‘tutor run’ and during the game I teach them how to play and to avoid twisteds and also talk about trinkets, ichors use, capsules, items, skins, mains, vintage, different types of runs and I barely remember but at the end of one of the runs I think I actually got one of the starters good at the game!

I started to really enjoy this, but as the video went on, I began to see that maybe leading others to trouble isn't the best approach. Griefing, or guiding Twisteds to take down players, isn't great, especially if you're looking to help newcomers. I think that might even go against the rules! Just because you're Goob doesn't mean you cant extract. Qwel themselves mentioned that distractors weren't intended to be an official role; it’s just something the fandom cane up with. I hope we can all remember that not everyone will want to play a distracting role, even if they are playing as Goob or Pebble, etc.

REAL!! I'm an extractor Goob who gets griefed ALOT just for extracting. It gets REALLY annoying when ppl lead twisteds to me and kill me. Even when I extract I can legit carry my team, I've carried many teams as an extractor Goob and istg when I'm extracting I'm carrying the team ALOT more.

Please don't grief people. I know you didn't kill Goob but you were still chasing them around while knowing they had lower stealth. Also, it's a survival game, distracting was made up, so it isn't immediately their job. They wanted to be fast to outrun twisteds, not to keep them on their character. I noticed you weren't able to see their trinkets but sometimes they'll use extractor trinkets that actually make them faster in extraction by a lot. (Above average extraction speed) 1EDIT: A lot of people also pointed out sprout being capable of distracting as well. I think he didn't distract because he wanted tapes but honestly that was really hypocritical to say that Goob should be distracting when he was the one claiming to try and protect starters. 2EDIT: OK SO I JUST SAW THE CLEAR UP!!! I wish I could have known that beforehand. However please give us viewers that context so we don't just assume you were being unreasonable! ^^ ANYWAYS NICE VID

Distracting is a choice, not requirement for the toon. You are able to extract as goob, so its not wrong if they’d like to do that. It’s different if the goob is doing NOTHING. Most goob players recognise their extraction speed and normally have atleast 1 extraction trinket. I get its slow, but they arent used for just one thing. 🙄 Some people just play them due to the looks of the character too.
