Praise be to God. For years, I’ve designed a sheltered bird feeder in my head, and this artist/carpenter brings it to fruition! We are in Minnesota and every type of bird feeder gets wet with rain and snow

You have to come to Norway. Many Norwegians do protect the animals. But usually we buy/ create simple things. Even my father who was not Norwegian told his friends that wild birds, deer and other animals are very tame. It shows that they feel safe to be around with human. But when we travel to some countries, animals often try to avoid human. It says a lot about a country's background.

beautiful. In Denver, when Temps dropped, I would watch birds fly up into the recessed lighting at night. They would sleep next to the bulb for warmth.

An amazing idea. It'll keep them feed and will provide a shelter, plus the lights will produce a bit of heat that will help them stay warm. Truely great work. 👌👍

Well, probably not. They’re LED, so minimal heat. But, it lets you see the house (birds are diurnal) for ambiance. I wonder if you could do something similar for a nesting condo. Cleanup might be difficult, but add some mini-cams, and you could watch chicks grow.
