Hhhhhh that was a roller coaster 😅 I was panicking when the character got really close and started talking about how I might regret coming to his home. The naive line especially got me because I didn't even think about the safety issues of it until the character told me and I tend to be a really naive and gullible person like that 😅 I think my breathing actually got quicker during that photoshoot - I thought something bad would happen but then I remembered this is an audio and not only that but Tanuki's audio !!! Dont be scared, silly! ☝️ Even though you say you weren't extremely familiar with photography you still sounded really convincing and I love what the character said about learning to observe better via doing photography, and about how the camera is honest - it's something I've thought about before so I was excited when I heard it in the audio. And the wind down at the end was much needed for me at least. I felt myself relaxing and trusting the person again. Anyway I didn't mean for this comment to be so long, I kinda just blurted out my thoughts ig. Thank you for the great audio as always Tanuki, you're very skilled!❤

I KNEW ITTT! He really was just pretendingggg! Although I still wasn't able to fully guess how it'll go and end, I knew the guy was pretending at some points! But yeah, the note at the end, that indeed is so true. The world can be so evil soo many times. Be careful out there! And the photography part in the script! Actually, you're making sense in a really good way, for someone who's not well-versed in photography! Making the exposure higher and prolonging the shutter speed does capture the haunting-ish features of anything white or bright when it's moving in the dark. One more thing, I like how the music you chose was very timing to the flow of the story! It starts off very mysterious, haunting, scary, but as the notes progress, you find it's actually really nice. Flat notes tend to do that to people in the first few seconds until you get to somewhere near the middle. The way the kettle kept rising and then unleashed that almost human scream is so unsettling. I don't think I can trust this guy, I feel like there's something wrong with him. Even the way described where I might be tomorrow made me wonder if I'd end up dead. Him allowing me to walk out might just be his way of saying "I can get rid of the evidence easily anyways". He can definitely be played for horror, there's just something so off about him. Oh and I forgot to mention, I found it amusing that he said to show up in all white so I thought "does he want me to act like a ghost or something" and then when he said the thing about wanting it to look more super natural, it suddenly made more sense. He kills me so that's just him preserving my ghost or something lol.

This started as a pendulum, constantly swinging between excitement and worry. Getting that wonderful jolt of electricity when a person you’re attracted to stands very close or touches you. Then a worrying thought of being alone in a strange place with a strange person. A very intense and not necessarily a safe person. At 2AM. But then again that close whisper, smiling remark or a slight touch. Not being sure how to take it. How curious. Long exposure photography was a great addition. The project sounds very interesting. The pictures would be soft with multiple exposures overlapping. Movement staying in the image as ghostlike echoes. Only few details captured in clearly, maybe the dark staring eyes. With the white clothes it would look a bit historical. Victorian. Haunted. Thunder working well as a backdrop for that atmosphere. This also proves that tea instantly makes everything more relaxing :) The tension eases in the end. When someone talks about something they are very passionate about you can hear that in their voice. It sounded like you know a lot about photography :) Except for a tiny little detail. There are two clicks. First when you push the shutter open and again when it closes. Normally it happens so quickly that it sounds like one click. But with long exposure it takes a long time, half a minute or more. So you hear them both. Heh. Just a photography nerdy version of seeing people play guitar in the movies without moving their other hand. So nobody really cares :)

I don't know why I watched both of the videos more than once but I really didn't feel intimidated. I guess it's the voice that is soothing so I can't help but keep smiling while listening (am I the weird one?) He starts as a tease and eventually turns to a relieved softie. I liked that he is threatening us in a way but also he doesn't push us like there are consent checks randomly. It has a natural flow when you are in the moment, it doesn't seem like it would be a one in a million random encounter, it doesn't seem made up. (I know some parts aren't like realistic but you know it sounds natural) And I really liked the places he took me, we don't really stop and think about some thinks. I liked how you make it seem like you know your stuff about photography, I almost believed it. I would expect more than one shot for the same pose. I liked how this one ended with fading away I thing it was a good choice leaving it like that you wouldn't just cut it out like that, I liked the rambles. Also I really like the disclaimer at the end lol All over you did a brilliant job again, thanks so much for your efforts. Lovely to hear you again soon.

WOW this was excellent, that first half had my heart racing. your voice is perfect for the binaural parts in there. I think the inclusion of the ending bit helped the tense beginning be a little more palatable, I wasn't expecting to enjoy that tense kind of setting so much, but the kind of wind-down part definitely helped. I'd love to see this character again, obviously the next morning is already set up but it would be cool to see his future photography projects from time to time. Incredible work as always!

Y'know part of me wanted to commit to that or like...cut the audio short right after the shoot ended and leave it more ambiguous. But the other part of me is too soft hehe. I think part of my issue is that I overshot my goal and made him sound a little murderous rather than just sarcastic and flirty. If I ever do more of like a horror-themed audio though at least I know I have something to work with now. Seriously though, I envy photographers and visual artists who are able to tell stories with just a picture. I need a microphone and fifteen minutes at least. I had an idea of what his project would look like after it's finished but I don't know if the methods he talked about could actually make it real. Holy fuck. The first half of the audio was unsettling, scary even. The sound of the kettle gradually getting louder kind of felt like ( I ) the listener was still uneasy and nervous despite the shoot being over. Oh, my whole body and mind went through an experience with this audio! Whenever you got particularly spooky and close, I had to pause because of the nerves and the stimming, and I literally shivered when I would hit play again! What a gorgeous, amazingly produced audio! When he started whispering about "why do you trust me" and "why did you come" I legit had to stop the urge to start punching bc it triggered my fight/flight response lmao Also, that photography project sounds plausible, the use of long exposure to capture movement, with the theme of the project seemed legit, the only minor detail is that the listener would have to be holding something bright (like, a flashlight, lantern(?), or be wrapped in string light or something) for the camera to take in the long exposure, esp in a dark room, but that's honestly such a minor detail (I swear I'm not talking out of my arse, I'm a design student and we had to learn basic photography for 2 semesters and my ex is a photographer lol)
