This is the embodiment of hockey, looks absolutely fantastic. I've always wanted to go to Finland to get footage of the aurora borealis and to freeski, now I have an even better reason. Great video mate, really glad I subscribed.

I went Finland (Vaassa , tamperer ,Oulu) around 8/9 years back to play some hockey and it was -27phenomenal experience! Chris isn't lying the Finns as so nice we got into loads of pick up games and soon as the locals heard our voices they was round us asking questions been really friendly and buying us drinks and food! we tried to decline the food and drinks saying "it's OK we got our own money, but would you like a drink? and they'd actually not take no for an answer and went ahead about got us food/drinks anyway!" was such a great experience! love that country so much!

Hockey Tutorial Hey, nice trip just planning something like this for myself in Feb 2015. What is the name of the first rink you went to near the hotel?. I have no idea how to spell it as it is said.. Regards
@lefa7910 жыл бұрын
IceHockey Walthamstow Hi, the first rink was called "Brahen kenttä" (Brahe's field/rink). The address is 'Helsinginkatu 23, 00510 Helsinki'.

L N Awesome just what I was looking for, thanks a ton..

IceHockey Walthamstow I prefer "Parkin kenttä" it's like Brahen kenttä but it is in Turku and i like it more. :) It costs 2€ (which sucks) but if you come here you should check it out!!!

Awesome video. I love your channel and the way you encourage more people to play hockey regardless of their age or location. I'm from Latvia and ice hockey is the most popular sport over there, most of us would follow hockey very closely. I have been a fan myself for quite some time, but my interest for it has grown massively in the last 2 years. Right now I live in Ireland I just started playing inline hockey here. I'm 19 years old and I'm kind of mad at myself for not starting to play earlier. I'm looking forward to playing on ice as well and I would love to travel to North America and other European countries as well to experience the culture like you did.

TheSamSam990 You can play in outdoor rinks that have a freezing system. For example Lassila ice rink is a good place and it's also completely free.
