I’m sorry but what does the fact that the land lord couldn’t afford to open new rental homes have anything to do with the fact they couldn’t keep up with the buildings they already owned, if they couldn’t afford to do upkeep on one building without building a second complex to pay for the first’s upkeep that’s just a never ending cycle. If someone can’t afford to open one apartment complex and pay the upkeep they definitely don’t need two. That doesn’t make sense. This is propaganda made to somehow convince people that having rent that can’t be raised to exuberant prices will be bad for them. This sounds insane.
