I tried doing that but it only opens the Riot Client and nothing more. I had to go to the Riot Games folder on my local disk and delete it all manually

had the same issue you should quit vanguard and riot to solve that

This helped me as I had to reinstall it but it was saying I had 2 copied files but never could figure out how to clear it. This was so much help

I was trying to uninstall LOL from my pc but the typical way of going to settings and selecting uninstall for the app didn't work for some reason, it just did nothing. When you mentioned the bottom right corner, I checked and Riot Client was indeed apparently running on the background. Clicked "quit", then tried to uninstall again and it worked. Thank you!

I tried to find a solution with support for months. Only my tickets were always marked as solved even though I kept writing that I couldn't uninstall it yet and needed a simple solution. In the last email the Riot employee said they couldn't help me and I didn't need to create a ticket anymore...just bad! It's just a shame for such a large company to still not have an uninstall function in the launcher in 2023 and even more so how little the support really wants to help. I turned my computer on today and it said the instruction at 0x000000000 referenced memory at 0x00000000 the memory could not be read for my riot client and now riot and any of their associated games wont run or uninstall no matter what I do. Ive tried everything except for wiping my PC but thats a last resort, please help.

Pls read this: I followed tons of tutorials. Riot client and everythong related to it is gone, but there is a text file in my ask manager, named Riot Unit. I cannot tap on it's file locatiion, nor can i enable the activity of it. What do i do? I says: Consuming space: 0mb Effects: none I am afraid this program will forever be in my computer😭

the easy way is go to the search panel then search add or remove programs then look for league of legends and then uninstall. that should solve your problems

Shift+Del key is the way to permanently delete a file/folder. Without needing to go to recycle bin to delete again. Anywho. thanks for the vid on reminders where league/riot live

For me this didn't work, but I found a solution that might help you. Go to task manager, find riot and end process. After that is done, go to programs and uninstall it normally. First uninstall LoL after Riot client.

1. You have to close the Riot client until it is not running on your background. 2. Do the uninstall step and bam! 3. I was wondering why I could not uninstall even though I have my Riot client running.

unfortunately outdated. Now, if you have the riot client installed it will automatically install league of legends, valorant and teamfight tactics. You cannot uninstall anything without uninstalling the whole riot client
