The downhill made the bike carrying worthwhile. Nice video 👍 and an extra 👍for Louis for not even being puffed out!

Did the same loop as you earlier this year, except took Sticks all the way back to Glenridding. By far the most technical ride I've done, and that hike a bike up Dollywagon was no joke! Cracking ride.

Loved this, really need to get out and do some more adventurous rides myself instead of staying in the comfort zone haha! The weather here in the lakes can pretty much do the opposite of the forecast at any given time so just got to keep the fingers crossed when you head out 😂

Great Video & wind aside looks like the weather played ball. Helvellyn is my local ride & if you do it again try gaining the summit by going up Keppel Cove zig zags from Greenside mines (Youth Hostel). That way you cut out about 95% of the hike a bike until just below the summit.

Thanks man. Yes, I'm into the MSC tyres now. Very tough and great levels of grip. They can handle the Tweed Valley mud which is the main thing for me!!!

I got some grief from an English lady in the Trossachs a week or two ago about being on a "footpath" with my bike. Did you get any negative reactions down there in the lakes? What's the legal position down south these days?
@streetpigeonmtb5 жыл бұрын
I have to say people were good. One or two didn't acknowledge I.e. weren't friendly but everyone else at least said hello. One guy even asked for pictures 👍 I'm afraid I don't know the legal position. I do have mates who ride their regularly so presume it is all good.
@orangealpine52675 жыл бұрын
The last section down Seldom seen is footpath and not legal for bikes, That said, respecting the walkers and farmer is key, go out and enjoy it, but be mindful of others, its a cracking route but do take in to account the weather forecast as the summits are very exposed
