I saw this video you have explained it very well but their is an error Gabapentin is not GABA AGONIST it's a misnomer it is calcium channel blocker it's action is on alpha2gamma subunit It is named as Gabapentin because of its structural similarity to GABA. I hope you will correct it..

I love the way you teach and also the contents of your videos. Thank you very much. But need a clarification from you. According to you Gabapentin is a GABA-A agonist but in K D Tripathi book, it is clearly mentioned that Gabapentin doesn't act as agonist on GABA-A receptor. Please clarify my doubt.🙏

Yes this correction is needed in this video. Thankyou for mentioning it. Gabapentin produce its effect by modulating enzymes responsible for GABA and glutamate synthesis.
