I'm so glad those double fences were installed to protect the petroglyph, otherwise it would have been obliterated in graffiti by now!! Thanks for this!

We used to party out there when we were in high school. There’s a secluded spot nearby that was hidden away pretty well. Further up Warren rd by Reflection Lake there are tons of native carvings. There’s a Ceremonial Rock where important events were held. The man that lived on that land had stone earrings, arrowheads, you name it. Teachers would come out to see his collection that just laid there, haphazardly around his fire pit.

Wow I just found your channel with your vid of Desert Center/Desert Steve. Now watching more of your content, my parents live in Hemet, been there many, many times. I never heard of this, will be there next month and will check this out. Keep up the good work, it’s appreciated

I worked in hemet for several years and have never heard of this before. Such dramatic music for a petroglyph lol.

I think if they dug a little further down from the rock they would find something very interesting.

Am I just seeing an illusion or is there a bird on the right side of the maze overlooking the maze?
@OddlyExplorer Жыл бұрын
Maybe a bird 🐦

They should display the stone in the small museum next to Diamond Valley Lake that also has a Woolly Mammoth . Chinese ship anchors were discovered off the coast of Palos Verde dated about 2,000 years old

I would think it has to be from Native Americans, that symbol was used by many tribes
