I'm glad this wonder crop is finally getting some of the recognition it deserves, still a long way to go before it hits it's full potential though.

Lol no you know how much hemp your would have to plant to just power cars??
@consumerwatch7479 Жыл бұрын
It would take full on acres for just one car but it has many other uses but I think big Industries would most likely invest in it for example Big tobacco invested in Juul and vape companies and oil companies have invested in plastic
@DJ-kb4pz Жыл бұрын
@@dustintacohands1107 you can get 30 - 42 barrels of oil per acre of hemp Mate. The world uses hundred of millions of barrels of oil worldwide so I don't think we can plant to replace that . That would be millions and millions of acre needed to be plant worldwide and would in my opinion be waste of land . However it still has over 25,000 uses to create value added products and clean products so its a good buisnees venture. And that 30-42 barrels of oil you would get per acre you could sell it or even use it to make numerous products. SO IT'S A WIN WIN MATE💯👍 HEMP FOR THE FUTURE 🌱

I think replanting all clear cut regions with hemp should be an obligation...this would also be useful for ply board that could be harvested yearly instead of every 50 years thwarting clear cutting whilest keeping the lumber industry flourishing... #hempinsteadofoldgrowth

I don't think any part of any plant can't be used for something. We may avoid many because they are endangered or can't use many because they are extinct, and some may be avoided because of their toxins from even skin contact and it just being too much of an issue spending the time and water to detoxify them, etc. But as long as one has at least one method to use a part of any plant, I'd say it can be used, it's just a matter of: Is this more efficient to grow and produce than another plant product for the same purpose? For products where longevity is the goal, does this material produce a more durable product [especially in a more financially friendly way] than the other materials that can make similar products? If "Yes" to the former and "No" to the latter, or "No to the former and "Yes" to the latter, considering all logistics, which is more economic (remember, we have a lot of bad products being used even in capitalist societies because most people are more worried about the immediate economy over long term, global environmental stability needed for our survival)?
