You realize that this is the single most profitable crop on the face of the Earth right? The combine allows you to sort out the hemp seeds, get the heads for CBD extraction and you can sell the fiber for biofuel. So it's a triple crop. Also, hemp digestate produces more methane yield per volume of biomass than almost anything else. CBD oil as an insane value on the market right now and you can sell the seeds for about the same price per lbs as corn, wheat, soy, sunflower seeds etc.. If this was included in Farming simulator 2019 it would render everything else obsolete.

Housing insulation from the fibers, clothing, other compounds like omega 3 6 9, b6, Ganja variations have THC, CBD, and around 400+ other cannaboids to extract. one of them has had great results treating certain cancers in rats as well. These machines are really sweet in that they harvest the top hemp “buds/colas” and then also trims and cuts the stalks.. as each product has its own specialty and value... tops for oil production and the stalks for hemp fiber/rope production... I would Think.. it’s really cool to see John Deere’s engineering department is on this and they have machines out there... because there are big fields of this all over Oregon and Washington, Tennessee, and other Hemp legal/agriculture States..

am i the only one in the comments that has enough farm experience to know he has that reel running wwwaaayyy too fast? the goal is to have it running ever so slightly faster than you are moving, to gently nudge the head of the plant into the header of the combine. definitely dont need it running on turbo mode to the point it starts throwing plants like its some kind of distance competition.

As he said, since they were only chopping up the leaves to send into the trailer why not use a machine designed for chopping vs a really expensive machine which is designed for threshing?

Jesus Christ, this is still uneducated. You don't need thc for cbd to work. It's the other way around bucko. CBD modulates the cb1 receptor but thc does not have that property. Don't get me wrong, Thc + Cbd have great medical properties when put together but this notion of treating the plant as some miracle drug that perfect on its own is only something weedheads, stoners, thc addicts believe in.

Honestly just look at some of the reviews of some of these websites they're not paid off it's real people telling numerous stories of how it's helping them with many different problems or illnesses. Hemp has so many industrial uses. It outperforms so many other materials that it’s insane it’s not being grown all over the Midwest. It’s native. It’s perfectly adapted for the Midwest (so much so that it grows wild all over farmers fields). Useless century old laws stopping farmers from a good crop.

Here in Indiana during World War II they paid Farmers to grow it. It was used to make Battleship rope and all kinds of canvas products uniforms cot tents everything. Could be a useful profitable crop for farmers in the midwest again.
