Those who built (or bought) chalets in this area knew how unstable it was. But chose to ignore the warnings an geological advice. So "now" they are concerned, as the sea is encroaching closer inshore, taking away more land due to the instability of the coastline. They have only themselves to blame. The latest plans to dump a a line of rocks to shore up the crumbling cliffs slow down the erosion, will only delay the inevitability...
