Surely one of he beautiful trance tunes ever. I love the way that all these classic Hemstock & Jennings tunes seem to be getting the acclaim they so much deserve as the years go by. Hemstock & Jennings were up there with JamX & DeLeon., Mike PUSH and Matt Darey at the very pinnacle of trance production.Amazing tune historical lyrics and epic creativity in the instrumentation.

I see what you mean. Most music, in general, is mastered so that there is a balance between the bass, synths, and vocals. Songs like these are the exception because it's clear that the synths and vocals have priority of the soundstage. It's purely an artistic decision. Some of Tiesto's and Andy Gray's older productions fell into this category. Andy Gray's remix of "Underwater" by Elizabeth Fraser automatically comes to mind.
