Geoff, a nice easy one after the over indulgences😊 Hen Mountain is one of the coolest mountains in the whole Mournes with those tors and views. Our Summer, for what it was, is well and truly over I think - though the cooler months bring their own magic👍

@@gerrymcveigh morning Gerry, 😂 yes a nice one after a heavy night indeed. It’s a smashing wee summit, it near has a big peak feel to it, we love those tors. @@Natalieoutdoorsni Hi Natalie, yes I seen on Instagram you went out, well done for that. I seen an Oex phoxx II, a great tent, I love mine. You will get there, it’s all about getting gear that you feel comfortable using, pick up tips but you’ve made a massive step going out on your own. Hahaha yea unfortunately we have to grin and bear it sometimes in the morning 😂. Thank you for watching 👍

Class wee night out there lads, you are so right about Hen, beautifully rugged little mountain! Had a laugh at you talking about Cock, we came down that side on the marathon and that was hard enough on the legs! Thanks for the call-out in the description mate, that will be you lads next year!! Will maybe try and get a date organised nearer the end of October for a walk and camp if you fancy it?

@@IrelandOutdoors Hi Gary. I love it up there, could spend days on it. That’s some pull going up I wouldn’t fancy coming down that side 😂. I would have said it on the video mate but I didn’t see until I was in hilltown having a coffee the next morning. I’ll get Stephen to plan something for us, we have a lot to ask about the layout of the marathon, I think we will get into it next year 👍.

Another great night out lads. Lights look to work well….for now 😂 - got them on my wish list. Need to get back out in my Helm soon. Are you allowed to camp just about anywhere in Ireland, like Scotland? Cheers 👍
@GeoffGreenawayOutdoors2 ай бұрын
@@cowalexplorer hi Fraser, yea hopefully get a good few camps with them 🤞. Ahhh the helm is a cracker, but I do like your bobcat setup. The camping situation over here is, it’s not allowed really in Northern Ireland, mostly farmers land but most don’t mind, in Southern Ireland I think it’s like Scotland a free to roam policy.
