I may be wrong, but it looks like Urdu is on life support, or may be Urdu will bounce back, somehow in the future. However, it will not be URDU of Ghalib, Daagh, Faiz, and Faraz (chronologic order), it will be someone else's. Good that I wouldn't be around, I am already sad to see title flashing in English & Hindi for Urdu Studio (couldn't they call it bazm?).

Hena ji ..for people like me ( and I'm sure there are thousands of them) , who have a fascination for urdu but yet don't understand the intricacies , such recitation with english translation would go a long way in building up the interest.look forward to many more in the coming days.
