This is a crossover I didn't know I needed as a racing fan. I haven't watched your channel in a while bc I was using an alt account that had free premium but now that I'm back on my main awesome channels like this are popping up again. I appreciate the Nascar knowledge as well. Such a great time it was to be a racing fan in the 90s!!

When I was a kid, (1970's) I used to collect racing stickers/decals. This was before the internet. I would write to companies like Hurst, Champion spark plugs, Bardahl oil, Union 76 etc, and ask if they could send me any stickers. Almost all of them did and I had a nice collection, still kept a photo album full of unstuck decals for memory. Would also stop in gas stations (the ones that had actual people working in them and would have an office) and ask for any stickers by companies like STP. Seeing these cars with all those beautiful decals on them sure brings back some good memories. Thanks Jordan, please say hello to Jah for me, I hope he is doing well.

Thanks so much for all the nascar videos Jordan... So cool to see these places since I've never been able to travel there yet myself... Very much appreciated... I appreciate every second you put in to all of your videos. But I've particularly been enjoying these ones lately.

This was so much fun to see. Amazing facility. Jimmy Johnson is from El Cajon,Ca. which is where we live. He has done a lot for the community even though he lives back there now. Loved the story about the movie & how it came to be. Very cool. Thanks Jordan! 💙

Cool fact! That #25 Folgers car used to be in my garage at my house when I was a kid! 😊 my dad built the souvenir trailer for them and while he was building the trailer, he needed a place to store the car… so the garage at home it was! (It was in our basement). Lastly, I also took that car to my 5th grade show and tell 😂 … yeah I was the “cool kid” for like 15 mins! Lol thanks for the video!!!

Its interesting how the 80s Camaro IROCz looks so much like the stock cars of the 90s with the front end and wheels. Days of Thunder was a great movie. The late Tony Scott directed it, the same guy who directed Top Gun.

Thank you for showing this. We were in the area about 5 years ago but only had time to visit my favorite drivers shop, Dale Jr. and his Jr motorsports racing team. The cars are built so much alike now, I don't think there will be a racing hero like in the past. Jimmy Johnson being the last. If you have a chance look up the story of Tim Richmond. Sad one.

Fun fact: A lot of the footage you see in the movies were filmed during actual races where the cars from the movie actually ran in a few races(even while mounted with huge camera rigs on the front on the cars). Some of the races they ran in were; 1989 Autoworks 500. 1990 Busch Clash. 1990 Goody's 300. 1990 Daytona 500. 1990 TranSouth 500. And the drivers were Bobby Hamilton and Tommy Ellis. It brought a lot of attention to the cars during the broadcast if you watch replays of those races n here, especially the Daytona 500. Pretty wild that they allowed this during such a prestigious race!

I had the opportunity to fly into Hendricks a few years ago to pick up a Ferrari Challenge car that they were fitting a carbon fiber seat in for Level 5 racing team. The car was $500,000 so I was sweating bullets the whole time it was under my watch which was enough pressure, but I found out 2 things when I got back to Madison Wi at Level 5 headquarters, 1 that a tornado was just behind me on part of the trip back and that the seat they put in the car temporary was Jeff Gordon's seat. I got to go in the engine shop and other buildings at Hendricks while there, which is not normally allowed. Brad Paisley was doing some video filming there and I had missed Larry The Cable guy by a few minutes. It was an interesting trip.
