Great video. Thanks for taking your time and slowing down for viewers to see the details of each step. Helps minimize having to rewind over and over. One question though. Why do we always tie extended mayfly wings split and separated when mayflies on the water almost always float with their wings together as one?

This is a good question! Old tiers like Gordon use to did a single wing...I think that the reason is a better balance of the fly...

Hi Umberto.. gorgeous fly! just a quick question.. I notice in some of your videos that you use veniard's wax for your thread and dubbing and in some you use 'loon' hi tack wax. Is there any reason for this and which is your favourite? Great channel and thanks for the weekly updates!!

Hi Neil, there isn't a specific reason, it depends on what I find before! However, the loon wax is more practical to use!! Thank you to follow me, i try to do my best!! ;)
