@@0whispersinthedark0 You're awesome, stick to it. I'm neurodivergent (not med diagnosed ASD) I found the music I could not "feel" very hard to learn. My teacher is very flexible on how I learn and works with me. Currently working on Bach cello suite #1, The Cranberries Zombie, and of course scales. You got this.

_The days of summer warmth have gone..._ _The autumn leaves yet linger on..._ _The cold come rise still past the dawn..._ _As winter comes to sing its somber song..._ _The biting chill blows through your homes..._ _The children shelter when it comes..._ _The frozen window's icy vines..._ _The spirits cast their seasonal designs..._ _The winds of winter come again..._ _The sun set low on the horizon..._ _The dreams of spring still linger on..._ _But will the winter let me sing her song?_ (Sung matching the cadence of each note of the cello to each syllable)

Darkness comes, and the night is returning. The rain patters on the withered hay. The trees mourn. Ravens dig the Earth, their souls they turn to grey. All is lost, nothing gained, when the dragon comes to play. The shadows they lie and in the black they work, whispers and wonders today. The past returns and the future fickle when the dragon comes to play. The final stretch, the final game, the final hurrah today. We say goodbye, our friends, our lives, when the dragon comes to play.

If you mean a big pipe organ... Yeah I'd add that! But it's more powerful than emotionally renching! Some of the tones from cellos and French horns can just pull your heart out! The pipe organ just doesn't have quite the impact On me, now... It might be different for you. That's just my opinion. I try to never down play anyone's emotional attachment/attraction to music. That can start as many if not more arguments than religion or politics!! But yeah the organ can be a very emotional instrument! Have a great day!

I understand this "dark" music might sound sad to some, but to me this music makes me feel some of the HAPPIEST I ever felt. I have persistent depressive disorder where I feel an undertone of sadness on a daily basis despite a lovely life. I kinda describe it as I experience the world through a blue tinged filter everyday. Anyway - I feel like this music resonates with thatt dark part of me but instead of amplifying sadness, I feel beauty amplified. I feel like this music is the soundtrack to my day to day, and it makes me really happy, because there's a beauty you can only experience through sadness. The weeping of this cello as an example. Super thankful to have found this music!

This music feels like it's the climax of a life or death scene in a tv/movie/anime, and the protagonist contemplates their decisions on whether or not they have to take this action and if it is morale enough to go through with it; ultimately breaking down because in the end, they don't have the will to go through with it or knows it is morally wrong to do so. This is quite good, and makes use of the lower registers that seems left by the wayside among cello pieces. I really like it

This theme goes perfect with my grief. What wine goes well with the haunting beauty of a deep cello melody and this sadness that i wish was fleeting? Anyone?

I LOVE cello. The vibrations of the strings vibrate through my whole body, and bring music to every cell in my body. I watched the movie The Perfection, and it struck me very hard. I tried to find that movie, and that music again, but the music in the movie had been altered and wasn't the same as the first time I watched it. Anyhooo, there's a very excellent album by Andrea Bauer, a most awesome cellist, called Cello Songs for Silence. it was recorded in 2002 through Hermes Records. After watching The Perfection, I went a tad nuts looking for Cello music. I found this CD in a second hand store, and listened to it on my way back home. I was STUNNED by it!!! But I discovered the best way to listen to this CD is in total silence, and total darkness, (maybe a candle on if you're afraid of the dark) and ALONE. It reaches right into the deepest part of you. It will be a differently personal thing to everyone who listens to it, but I assure you it will touch you.

Was listening on my phone at first. After a couple seconds it was clear that a speaker was needed, the rich and deep sound of it gives us a sort of solitude and loneliness yet it gives us hope and strength, very well played
