HENNA DIY: 4 ways to fold a henna cone

Learn FOUR ways to fold a henna cone!
If you apply henna then you're an artist of some sort; your henna cone is your brush and skin is your canvas. An uncomfortable cone can affect your master piece negatively. Hence i made this video. To each person comfort is different. My video aims at helping you find a henna cone that suits you!
If you're someone who prefers a thicker cone than the "phat cone" is for you! On the other hand if you have smaller hands and find a thick cone too heavy, a better option to go for is the "thin cone". Some artists prefer tiney cones and hence will use the "short cone". Like wise if the oposite is desired you can use the "long cone". The idea is to personalise your henna cones to best suit you!

I liked your video. One small remark I have to make; you use rectangles and not triangles. I understood, no problem, but some people use triangle shape foils to fold cones but you use, just like me, the rectangle foils.

lol, thanks for the comment. yes the foil is rectangular in shape but what I meant was that a triangle shape should be folded along one side of the rectangular foil :)

Assalamu Alaikum! Wow I Love all of your videos .. I have a question ,, whenever I make my henna cone and put henna in to it , the henna doesn't come out :( i think bczz of air in the cone or maybe bcz of my henna paste...I dont know what's the reason.,, can you give me some tips please ....

+Apple Pie maybe the henna paste is too thick or not fine enough or too lumpy. try sifting the henna powder before you mix it, and make sure the mixture is lump free before putting it into the cone. also if the hole at the tip is too small that may stop the henna from coming out

Hello!! I really liked your video, maybe you can help me , when I have cones henna I cant save them, i fill it and the next morning the henna going off on the sides of the cone and the top, as I add sugar the mixture apparently affects the scotch tape i dont use selefon, i use zipplock bags, do you have experience, save me !! i dont know what i do wrong.

is the water separating from the henna paste? sometimes if u use too much water, it can separate because theres not enough powder to hold the water, at other times the essential oil used can cause the water to separate as oil does nt mix with water. in that case you can substitute water for lemon juice

will try to film a video for you if your henna is getting stuck while you draw it can be because the paste is not smooth enough or because the hole you cut into the cone is too small, try making the hole bigger, if it still gives u a problem then see if you can get a different cone of better quality.

hey! :) what should i do if my henna cone gets air in it?

once air gets trapped in a sealed cone theres really nothing u can do about it, the air will come out as you use the henna. what i like to do is make my henna cones stand in a tall glass for 2 to 3 mins before sealing them, gravity will pull the henna down and the trapped air will come to the top. your paste will have to be a bit on the runny side for this to work though. hope that was helpful :)
