Henning is fantastic as a comedian because his jokes aren't mean-spirited or used to pit people against each other. He doesn't overuse expletives or shouting for 'shock factor' nor does he use the stage to complain about his life in order to seem relatable. Nor is he afraid to joke about controversial topics and make use of stereotypes. Instead he uses relatable observations that poke fun at stereotypes in a witty and down to earth way. I love when he laughs at his own jokes and jokes about German stereotypes. As a part German person living in England I may also be biased towards his style of comedy because everything is hugely relatable to me! 😅 This clip made me laugh a lot so thanks to Henning for being a fantastic comedian and thank you Nick for uploading this and cheering me up this Christmas!

I think Henning does a remarkable job of balancing the humour. My understanding is that he is practically unknown in Germany which is a shame. What I do know that for this video he has currently 1,857 likes and 20 dislikes. When you consider that he is a German taking the piss out of the English (and Germany) that is amazing... Would that work the other way round in Germany do you think?

His humour (and it is wickedly good) is relevant to the UK, and not to Germans living in Germany* after all. *As evidenced by those who tell us we can "keep him", and who favour German comedians which leave me, a German who's not lived in Germany for 52 years, utterly cold. He's *our* hero, levelling misconceptions about the German sense of humour with one fell swoop, MWUAHAHAHA!! Long may he reign (in the UK!).

Yes indeed. Lots of good things here. An outsiders eye is often a more accurate one. He also manages to riff on the traditional British stereotypes of Germany, which aren't necessarily all negative (quality engineering, efficiency etc).

In Britain Xmas starts in October when American films are first shown which are constantly repeated until February.These films all have the same theme.Single American mother goes back to home town , meets single American father and after rocky start get together , fall in love and on Xmas Eve , as it snows , find out they have saved the school/orphanage/library/school play/business.

So, no comment about how you enjoyed this? Your only interest is if I paid Henning? Perhaps he could have paid me for the promotion as he has had 90,000 views so far? No, I didn't pay him nor did he pay me. Actually, I was booked (unpaid) to film a local charity event and didn't even know that Henning would be there (he lives in Hastings like me.) . I filmed him along with the rest of the acts and then put it on my channel. I also sent a link to Henning who liked it and asked if he could share it on his channel. My reply was that he could do whatever he wanted with it, so he shared it. He then sent me an email thanking me. My only interest in this was sharing so others could enjoy it and that included Henning. I get nothing for doing this although looking at most of the comments it has brought some enjoyment to many people. I hope that answers your question. Perhaps you could answer mine i.e. did you enjoy it?
