This is so hauntingly beautiful and mesmerising. Heinrich demonstrates in such short piece an exquisite art of piano playing. His superb phrasing, with masterful command of sublime pedalling and natural flow, makes it an awesome display of divinely inspired talent. I'm honoured to have my mom as his former student, who has had a most amazing time with him and his son, brilliant pianist Stanislav. She had met Gilels as well in private, leaving her absolutely starstruck!!
