The map didn't dissapear from my inventory until I went to the hippogriff statue and lit the Lantus to match the page. After doing that a little door opens up behind the statue under the 2nd level with a chest in it. Now the map is gone and its completely complete.

You can also cast Arresto Momentum on the floor tiles that grab you so you don't have to use an item to feed to it instead. The effect lasts a long time too.

Love the depth of this game. Lot of people seem to hate the puzzles but it is part of the world in the books. It isn't just a hack and slash game which makes it more difficult in several ways adding dimensional context to what can end up being a boring experience.

I came here to find out if I'm the only one TxT Sometimes stuff spawns inaccessible, like leeches or moonstone, but I never saw a chest I couldn't get to before Edit: I lit up the statues braziers but it didn't open for me, guess I'm glitched :( Edit#2: I lit up ALL the braziers. I thought it was a simpler puzzle than it is. Looked at the map and realized my mistake.

Not sure if anyone else did this or just me, but at 06:12 the weak spot at the wall where the bricks are, a bit left of the torch in the middle of the frame*. For some reason it highlighted when I pointed at it with my wand, and while I was looking around for the Fire Block after already placed the Levioso block. it opened the door after I hit the wall with a basic cast. So I could find the Nifller. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, because I never actually solved the 2nd part of the puzzle, and managed to save the Nifler without ever placing the Fire Block.

Friendly tip using aresto momentum on that funky area of floor also allows you to pass over it safely as well. That was what I did..I tried that empty vase but it sucked me in with it 😮

When you come out of that room, you will see that it has opened the wall on the opposite side. You go down the stairs to get the two chests behind the metal gates using accio on the blocks 👍

To get past the tiles that suck you in, you can also (if you’re quick about it) shoot past them right when you pop out. Like when you dodge and turn into a blur. You can do blur through it but gotta do it RIGHT when it shoots you out

@@StateOfChaos I was lucky, the last auto save was just when I entered the hideaway so I just had to reload it and I was fine. Didn't lost any hours of progress and I have now collected all but 12 items to get the collectors edition trophy. I'd look into it for your save as well

Thank you!! Made an overwhelming cave seem quite simple! I was just struggling with that leaf block! Incidentally, if you are in here you can get the Hippogriff Treasure using Henrietta's map. Just go to the Hippogriff Statue and light or extinguish the flames as the map directs.

You need wingardium leviosa unlocked. Essentially when it’s unlocked just use accio and hold it till the object is close to you and wingardium leviosa will automatically activate. You can walk closer to the object while using accio to make the spell activate faster
