The moral of the story is you can't win a semi-final and then 2 years later be entitled to be in the finals. he's had 2 fights at 135 his entire career, he isn't some Jon Jones, Silva, GSP, Usman or something to act like he ruled 135. Marlon & Cruz the only 2 guys he has ever faught are no where close to being elite now. So its fair to respect people who are actually fighting elite opponents. Fight yan is perfectly reasonable especially when henry claims its an easy fight. Also UFC doesn't even know if he is gonna retire again and he is just coming for a one time money grab. UFC isn't that stupid. If henry would've faught Alex instead of the zombie, i'd be up for it cuz 135 didn't have any real contenders at the time apart from Yair but 135 gosh, Yan, TJ, Merab, Jose all are deserving

The Volk VS Cejudo angle is interesting if Volk entertains the idea. This might be the purest form of technique battles. Volk relies on it to carry the amount of muscle he has that plus its deterrent against forward pressure fighters. Cejudo uses it to control where and how the fight ends whether KO or decision. This is the closest window of opportunity for Cejudo to get the 145 lb belt if all of the logistics are in order. The point is that both have fight IQ and maturity to adapt each round with Volk working his game based on his KO power while Cejudo does the same but uses wrestling which both needed against a majority of fighters with physical advantages. The main draw is that it is the ultimate chess match that's fundamental in who is the best at having PERFECT efficiency and then who is the better TACTICIAN. Great podcast!

Usman is good, but Khamzet would smesh him. I believe Khamzets wrestling is better if not equal and Khamzet has better hands and more power. That fight with Gilbert shows he has heart.....and he will have more tact after that fight too.

@@xavierholland7519 Khamzet went through a massive learning curve from fighting non ranked to the number 2 guy in burns. He just went and banged with him. If he was tactful, he would have dominated Burns like Usman. He should have made him eat jabs likewise. But like I said, this particular fight will elevate him beyond any of these guys, imo, because of the experience. But now we know the guy has heart on top of it.
